D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches — Restaurant in Stoughton

Came in with my wife and daughter, as an alternative to the eateries around Cobb Corner, didn't want to drive to Washington Street in Stoughton and deal with the hassle and traffic.

Now, I know what you're thinking. Isn't D'Angelo's owned by the same company that has been running down Papa Gino's? Yes, yes it is. Have their ingredients suffered the same way as Papa Gino's? No, not really. D'Angelo's has always been a solid choice for me for a bite on the run, and this location definitely stood up for us when it mattered. My son and daughter both really enjoyed their chicken salad sub, and my wife enjoyed her chowder. Yes, really. I was surprised. She is a tough sell. And my large Number 9? As good as it ever was, always a solid choice.

The crew here at 2pm had the place in tip top shape, and were friendly and helpful. They took their time to get our sandwiches right, and it was worth the wait. We will definitely be back again. Never mind the overpriced food at 5 Guys Burgers, here is...

I needed to do a lunch for 14 folks at an office. Joanne was fantastic. First of all, Joanne took the order order over the phone saving me the angst of doing the order on line. Secondly she had the order ready the next day at the correct time. I can’t tell you how many restaurants promise a catering order for a certain time and when you get there to pick it up, it’s either not ready or in some instances not even started. Lastly, the food was terrific. I did a bunch of sandwich and wrap lunch boxes along with some quarts of soup. The office loved the food. Once again, a big shout out to Joanne and her staff. I will definitely do catering orders from here...

5/2/22 - I was there yesterday. I was happy with the food but disappointed in the managers attitude and mood. There was an elderly woman that came in - struggling to walk, communicate etc. the woman manager was very impatient with her. Somehow the wrong bread was assumed and when the woman corrected her, the manager got frustrated. Cmon - people are dying in Ukraine and from COVID every day. Is this really something to give a customer a hard time about? I paid for the woman’s lunch because I felt for her.
