I am utterly appalled and deeply disappointed by what my family and I experienced at the Dunkinā drive thru location in Stoughton Near Wal-Mart. What was supposed to be a simple coffee run turned into a humiliating, infuriating display of blatant racism ā right in front of our children.
We were at the order section at 12:16 PM 7/6/25* with someone who was rude, dismissive, and downright hostile from the moment we began the order. He continuously cut us off mid-sentence, showed zero patience, and carried an energy that was aggressively unwelcoming. When we calmly tried to address his behavior and remind him that, as a manager, he should show a level of professionalism ā he refused to take our order, saying it was āhis store.ā The entitlement, the audacity, the absolute disrespect was overwhelming.
This was not just poor customer service. This was racism. And anyone who has experienced it before knows exactly what I mean. The vibe, the tone, the way he spoke down to us, and the smugness on his face made it painfully clear ā we were not welcome there because of the color of our skin.
To witness this in front of our children was heartbreaking. My husband, my chand I left that store shaken, furious, and deeply saddened. Is this the world our children are growing up in? One where bigotry is shrugged off by managers who feel emboldened enough to deny service and humiliate families without consequence?
Shame on you, Dunkinā. You preach inclusion and equality in your marketing, but THIS is the kind of person you entrust to represent your brand? Silent racism is still racism. And when you hire people like this, you are complicit.
We will never return to this location. And unless there is serious accountability and correction, we will reconsider supporting Dunkinā altogether.
DO BETTER. Because this was beyond unacceptable. It was traumatizing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDunkin, how much I love you my coffee shop. I first found you in 2003, when I lived on the East coast, and everyday you gave me cups of coffee goodness. Alas, I had to leave you and travel to another part of the country where you did not live. I pined for you each day, and waited for you to join me.
Finally the day arrived when you came to our small town. Happiness! You haven't aged a day since I saw you last. Your rich golden brown coffee still brings me joy and hope I will make it another day. The smooth rich flavors of caramel and coffee spread joy and happiness.
You brought your best staff with you. Kind, courteous, thoughtful and lightning fast. They waste no time getting awesome coffee or sandwiches to me. Walk in our drive through, it matters not to these coffee Masters. The local papers celebrate you each week with coupons, and I cannot resist. Each year you support our local law enforcement and emergency responders, unlike your half-rate competition from Seattle.
You and I have been together a long time, Dunkin. We have been through hell and back, but you are always there to make my day so much better. Your bright orange and brown sign are a beacon of hope to the weary and hungry. Thank you, Dunkin donuts of Stoughton, for bringing so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Dunkin is the worst! 2 weeks ago I ordered a bagel with veggie cream cheese. I repeated VEGGIE cream cheese multiple times, because the girl at the speaker said something else. When I got home I realized I was given plain cream cheese. Today, I went through the drive through. I ordered 2 chocolate sprinkle donuts, a black ice tea, and an ice water. The girl on the speaker says they don't have any sprinkle donuts. I ask if they have chocate frosted without sprinkles...she says yes. So I pull forward, pay, and get my drinks. I am told that they do not have the chocolate frosted without sprinkles. I say ok, well can I please have a refund for those donuts then. After waiting I'm asked by a supervisor (I'm assuming) what I need a refund for. I say because you don't have the donuts I ordered. She refunds my card. I sit there waiting for my sandwich. The supervisor asks if I am waiting for something else. I said yes, I am waiting for the sandwich I ordered. They didn't have the sandwich because no one made it. She asks me to pull forward, but I simply said I wanted a refund for the sandwich. Unbelievable!!! Get...
