Great place to come with family, on dates, just a drink at the bar. Bar is in separate area from. Dining. Booths are all separated by tall plastic shields, so when we first went in we wore our masks, but it looks like they are trying to keep people kinda separated, so not seating people close to each other. All staff were wearing masks, but we took ours off after being seated. The food is very good, service is quick, prices are very reasonable. Been coming here for several years, always the same. Right on rte 27 in stoughton but before you get to Brockton(oak street end)line. Plenty of free parking, handicap accessible, ramp or stairs in. Ramp is covered from entrance. All handicap parking in front by stairs or on both sides of ramps. Nice background music, usually a Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin tune while you eat. It's good Italian and American food selections. They have function rooms for baby, wedding, funeral events. I have never been disappointed at Noceras/The Chateau. Highly recommended for lunch/dinner & they do have excellent "early...
Read moreI ate the meal, but I didn't enjoy it. I ordered hot tea, and it was barely warmer than tepid. It's never worth it to ask for hotter water. Servers usually just bring the same temperature of water again. Also, there weren't enough tea bags for the amount of water in the teapot. I just made do.
My meatball parm was not even warm when it was served. It was room temperature, even in the center of the meatballs. The cheese had already solidified! The service was slow, so I was surprised to get cold food after waiting so long. I just ate it. I didn't want another long wait.
To be fair, the preferred texture of meatballs is subjective. I like a little crisp on the outside. The Chateau's meatballs are very smooth. These were a little mushy for me. The sauce was perfect as usual, and the fries were good. The fries were warm enough, but nothing else was.
The apple cake isn't made by the Chateau, but I found it to be much too sweet. I could not...
Read moreI would give this restaurant a 3.5 if I could but the waitress who has been there for several several years allowed it to be a four I have been to the one in Burlington and I can definitely say Burlington is Way beyond my favorite better than this one the food here specifically was bland it didn't really have flavor the tomato sauce in the dish I had with spicy garlic chicken shrimp was not that special in Burlington it never fails it's always epic impressive and I leave satisfied every time here I wouldn't go back not for this specific restaurant also I felt the Burlington location is much more intimate in this place it feels more like a diner where there's a hustle and bustle and the music was not my type in Burlington if he feels a lot more romantic more intimate and much more special I'm sorry if this review seems like a comparison it is the same restaurant they are the same owners but the Burlington location will always get five...
