I have not had a bad experience with the Jolley side of this establishment. I have even been to DD there before and have had what is to be expected. When I went to DD yesterday (9/4/17, approximately 2:40pm) I was met by the most rude DD employee I've ever encountered. I have had coffee made wrong before - it's cool, it's a mistake. I get that. Well yesterday I ordered something I order frequently. He asked me a question about my order, I politely asked him to repeat his question (he was mumbling ) and when he repeated the question it was in a tone that was completely unacceptable. He then argued with me not once, not twice, but THREE times about what I ordered and that I had not ordered it correctly. I did not get an attitude going until he tried to correct me the second time. I called after I left and asked to speak to a manager. They put the same individual (Brian? the "shift leader" at the time) on the phone when I specifically said I didn't want to talk to him. I advised if he is the person that just poured my coffee I don't want to speak with him. He then hung up on me. When I got a call back (because I emailed) I got the Asst Manager of Jolley who advised this has been an issue with this individual and yesterday was an especially bad day. I'm still waiting for a call back from the GM of DD now many hours later than my call with Asst Manager. I have had many experiences with DD - I understand I'm not dealing with the Ritz Carlton but I do feel that the level of service I normally get is at least a nothing experience at worst (like you go to counter, barely get acknowledged, but you're still being helped). Today I had my whole family over so 43$ in dounkin products spent. My daughter kept me company while we waited, drinks were perfect and when the food came up I checked it all and it was perfect. Got home Excited to eat and my husband asked about the coffee cake muffins!!!! The only thing he and I wanted to eat and it's not in a bag!!! I was busy making sure everything was cooked correctly I forgot to ask about the muffins 😒. When I asked for a Charlie cold brew with cream, the cashier said that if I change the dairy it’s no longer a Charlie, I’m sorry how is it not? When I received my drink it didn’t have anything the Charlie came with and tasted absolutely awful. I asked for a Charlie build with cream instead of milk. Why was this simple order screwed up so bad? Not only that but the cashier scoffed when I asked her to remake it. Like your coffee cost you .20 cents to make and I’ve been a longtime customer for well close to 2 decades. Very sad...
