Ice Cream Depot — Restaurant in Strasburg

My husband and I went after dinner and before we went i looked up the hours online which showed they closed at 10PM. We showed up around 8. The line was super long but i really wanted ice cream so we waited for a good 30-45 mins. While we got closer to the front of the line i could see there were only 2 young girls working and i figured that’s what was taking so long. I could see through the windows and while making orders they were talking a lot and goofing off. When we got to the front and it was our turn to order one of them yelled out the window that they will be closing in about 10 mins (at 9) and they couldn’t make anything that required machines; no milkshakes etc. I really only came for a reese's chill. i waited all that time and didn’t even get what i came for. The guy behind us was also pretty upset when he went to order. He had his kids in the truck and he had a pretty big order. I think it’s very sad that just because they didn’t want to stay a little extra to clean the machines.. they couldn’t make a lot of the main items for the people that have been waiting THAT long in line for what they...

I looked on line for the hours before just showing up. Opening hours were 11am across the board. So I ran my errands with my pups with me so they could get their "Pup Bowl" for being so good. I harnessed the pups & hooked them to a pole so they couldn't get away. I stood at the board of available items for a minute or so choosing our items. I went to order and was told they weren't open for 8 more minutes. That meant it was 11:52. I told him that all the websites said they opened at 11am. His response was, "I know they do, but we don't open for 8 more mins. There's nothing I can do." SERIOUSLY If you're not ready to be open 8 mins before your supposed to be open then how proactive are you? And I'm sure you could've served...

RIDICULOUS INCONSISTENT Service, I go here a lot as it is local to me. I got a large sundae, so did the 4 people in front of me. Everyone else's ice creams looked amazing and were towering over the top of the cup with ice cream, for $6.20 it should be because you can get 1.5 QT from FoodLion for cheaper. I got mine and it was topped even with the top of the cup. I asked the guy with a hat and glasses and brown hair if this was a large and then he looked at me, shut the window and walked away. And nobody else was even in line at the time. Ice cream is good but this is not the first time I've had a bad service here, this was just the worst...
