While the beer is undoubtedly a star, the food at Box Office Brewery deserves equal acclaim. The pub fare is fantastic, blending comfort with creativity. The chef puts a unique spin on classic favorites, ensuring that each dish is both satisfying and delicious. The smash burger, made from locally sourced beef, was outstanding, perfectly complemented by crispy sweet potato fries. We were also told that the chicken wings are among their most popular offerings, and they did not disappoint! Some of the best wings we have ever had! The chef personally came out to check on our enjoyment of the meal, which is always a commendable touch.

Read moreNormally I am very pleased with BOB, but tonight I just have to vent. Met friends there and everyone ordered food. Saturday night, busy with a band. We knew it would be a wait but that was okay. Every order came but the last order. We did not order at the same time, and this was the last ordered. A smash burger. With fries. Stopped who I believe was the owner. It had been an hour. We have a busy house, yes I know but it's been ridiculously long. He says he'll go check. Walks away, stops and turns around and went on his merry way. Didn't even bother. Ask another person,. Not much success there either. My friend goes and cancels her order. Finally the "smash burger" shows up. She declined. No fries, no cheese, no lettuce or tomato as ordered. You may as well eat it, they'll just throw it away says the server. If you don't know how to prepare a proper smash burger, don't offer it on your menu. These were two overcooked frozen patties on a bun, not smashed. The onions were not crispy, but just sauteed. Completely dry and not appetizing at all. I can forgive a botched order, but I can't forgive the lack of concern or care. When that guy said I'll check, walked in the direction of the kitchen and did an about face I was shocked. Also, YouTube has some excellent smash burger videos should anyone care to learn how to do it correctly. For $15 , I want a decent effort. A smash burger should be a juice drippy mess. That's what makes them good. Hand pattied beef smashed onto the grilled onions to marry the two entities right up. Do better BOB....
Read moreMy family and I had a terrible experience here. First, we walked in and were unsure if we should be seated or seat ourselves. (No sign at the door) I made eye contact with both bartenders and they made no attempt at a greeting, so we seated ourselves. The place was not busy and there were a total of four people working there, two bartenders and two waitresses from what we could see. Five minutes went by, the two waitresses walked past and did not say a word. At that point I'm thinking okay there is a sign that says order here at the bar but that is probably if you want to grab a beer and go sit down not if you want food. Since I did not see a menu anywhere. So I wait patiently for 10 minutes while the staff goes about their day and does not make any attempt to greet us or tell us the process we need to go through to get service. It felt like a standoff between the staff and myself at this point. I thought it was customary to greet customers and ask if they had been here before if they are not recognized as regulars...guess I was wrong. After 15 minutes we got up and left and as we walked out the door I told the bartender that was enjoying her food on break that had clearly seen us sitting there " Thanks for the service!" She immediately snaps back at me which just confirmed that she had been waiting for me to say something....
