Queen Street Diner — Restaurant in Strasburg

Environment had a very nice homey feel to it that just made you feel welcome from the second you stepped into the door. Restaurant was very clean including the restrooms which is always a big plus in my book. Menu offered a wide variety of items including all day breakfast! I order the butterfly shrimp with fries and a salad. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak with fries and a salad. I must say neither if us was impressed with the high prices of the platers considering the skimpy salad and fries portions we were given. However, the food itself was every tasty espically the home cut fries! Service was decent certainly nothing to brag about. It's never a good sign to tell your customers you do not know what the Delmonico steak is on your menu and have to run to the kitchen for an explanation! Over all to Any further travels this was a nice place to dine but nothing to go out of your way to find...

The food is nasty and expensive. Soggy fries, over cooked chicken tenders ( toddler was struggling to chew them after we cut them into bite size), steak and cheese was just meat and cheese on bread, fries and drink where extra $ , no mayo onion or anything, and not much of the latter, it looked as gross as it tasted. Fried cod was good. Nachos are chips with just melted cheese, no salsa or anything. I should have taken a picture. Even with the nachos removed from the bill it was over $40 bucks for two adults and a kids meal before tip. Yikes. All the above was kindly explained, that's why they took the nachos off. Staff was friendly but it was gross. They also didn't refill drinks without asking after cups being empty for some time. I don't want to cost them buisness but with prices going up I hate for anyone to spend money on food like...

So, this food establishment was so good I went in the morning, and all the waiters were talking with all the customers and were super friendly. I even ordered chicken tenders with fries and mashed potatoes and it came with a complimentary biscuit. my friend ordered a pancake and let me tell you. These people do NOT disappoint. The pancake was the size of his plate! My food was straight up delicious! They give so much food that you are guaranteed to be full, and I’m so happy I could have the tenders at breakfast time, because I previously ate breakfast. The atmosphere was so nice. Though however the vegetarian options are not so vast, but I would recommend this for people...
