HORRIBLE!! this is our second time ordering from this place and the first time the food was good and the delivery was as promised. Tonight was a nightmare! I placed my order on grubhub at 5:58 and was notified that delivery would be between 6:45-6:55. Well 7:25 rolls around and we still had not received our order, so we called the restaurant and was told that the delivery person had Just left! So we waited... and waited.. and 8:20 rolls around and we called AGAIN, and were told that the delivery guy forgot something and went back to get it but was REALLY on his way this time! So 10 minutes later the food finally gets here and after all that anticipation, it's inedible! The wonton soup literally smelled like cat urine... CAT URINE! and while the sushi was made as advertised the soy sauce that was provided smelled and tasted like vinegar. Mind you, we spent $$$ on this order and gave a generous tip via grubhub at the time we placed the order! LEARN FROM OUR EXPERIENCE!! After speaking with GrubHub they refused to give us any kind of refund!...

I’ve had Harvest House before and have had positive experiences in the past but after my order on Monday I do not plan on ordering from them ever again.

I placed my order at 6pm expecting the delivery to arrive around 7pm, the delivery time comes and goes without a word from the restaurant and I call to check in on the status. I am told the food is on the way and it’s running late since they had to wait for the other Bridgeport orders but it should arrive soon. This already made me want to cancel my order but I was hungry and figured at least they were honest about it and I continued to wait. Another 30 minutes pass by and I am told again that the food is on the way, frustrated at this point I asked to cancel my order and was told they could not since the food was already on the way.

The food finally arrived around 8:30pm and my orange chicken was mushy, rice felt stiff, and the dumplings had a disappointing thick skin and bland sauce.
