Honeyspot Pizza — Restaurant in Stratford

Sometimes the best food is at hole in the wall spots in less than stellar neighborhoods. They've got the location down to pull this off but the quality is lacking.

The large pizza is large, like it doesn't fit in the box properly large with pooling grease so things appeared optimal when I first opened the top.

I pull out the first slice, carefully separating the cheese which has melted back together. As I fold and lift the slice it collapses at less than the half way mark, the cheese sloughs off the weak and soggy crust, spilling into a pile of disappointment before I can even move the slice from over the box.

The structure does better once the pizza cools to room/fridge temperature but the flavor does not. The cheese will hold and the crust supports itself but the flavor could be described as lackluster more easily than mild.

It's pizza, it's large, it can be delivered. If you want much more than that......

I recently had the unfortunate experience of grabbing a slice at Honeyspot Pizza, and it was one of the worst I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The dim lighting and disheveled appearance made it more reminiscent of a fast-food joint than a pizzeria.

The service was just as disappointing. The female staff members seemed genuinely miserable, treating customers like an inconvenience. There was no friendliness or warmth, which only added to the overall unpleasant vibe.

As for the food, I ordered a buffalo chicken slice, and it was a complete letdown. The slice was drenched in oil, creating a greasy mess that overshadowed any flavor. The chicken was overcooked and unappetizing, making it hard to enjoy even a single bite.

With such poor food and service, I really can’t understand how Honeyspot Pizza is still in business. Do yourself a favor and find a better...

been a customer for close to 20 yrs literally have ordered hundreds of times I've had the occasional cold food or incorrect order and usually just delt with it..5/5/23 I ordered 2 small pizzas and a honeypot salad my wife picked the order up upon getting home realized we received the wrong salad...called and asked if someone could drop off the correct one..we live less then a mile away was told.. we don't do that!! Ok fine then can you credit us a free salad next time? Nope we don't do that either best I can do is give you 3 dollars off...I mean really? You'd lose a customer that's spent thousands of dollars over a small salad ?? Honestly not happy and plan to never return its sad because your food is usually very good it's a shame that your employees treat customers this way.

Emailed them over two months ago to let them know what happened before changing this review and never...
