Atrocious service, downright mean, skimpy on toppings. Never going back to this subway that’s for sure!
Edit: The business owner replied
“Sorry what happens Which location did you go?”
First off Mr. Business owner, the location I went is the location I left a review for? That’s typically how reviews work. And, just so you know, reviewers are unable to reply to your replies, other than by editing the original response, as I am doing here now.
From your broken English response, I am guessing you are from the Indian Subcontinent, and it was your daughter or younger female relative who was om staff. She has previously served my girlfriend and I, with similar demeanor and subpar sandwich making skills. She has also closed up shop before stated business hours (the last time we tried going actually).
We walk in and are greeted by nobody, as she is in the back facetiming with her friends. It takes a minute or two before she realizes she actually has a job and finally comes out. I notice and make very clear (as there are a only three of us in the establishment, and I am loud) a sign in the back stating that if you sign up for the subway rewards and buy a sub, you get a free cookie. So I go ahead and jump through the hopps and do the song and dance to sign up for the rewards, actually passing it off to my girlfriend as her sandwich is finished prior to me completing signup. Since we both were getting subs, I tried to get her to also signup and pay separately so we could get two (2) cookies, but she didn’t want to go through the hassle and there is awful service in there anyways.
Come checkout time, I show the young lady behind the counter that I have signed up for the rewards and would like to pick my cookie. She tells me you have to download and scan the app first. OK, fine, nobody else is there, let’s go the full 9 yards on this. I download, I scan, she says I don’t have the proper rewards for a cookie. I politely refer back to the sign which clearly states buy sub, get cookie. This back and forth continues, with her absolutely REFUSING to give me a cookie.
It comes to the point where I ask her if she can go back and READ THE SIGN out loud to me (note while this is happening the Air handling unit drips on my head three times which I also point out to her). She reads it in her broken english, and only then does she furiously and vehemently ask me which cookie I want. I point to it, as it does not have a name card on it, and she asks me two or three more times what it is and I say I don’t know it’s that one, she says read the name card I say there isn’t one she rips it out and looks to see that I am right and shoves I back in the display case.
We pay, I say we will never be back, have a merry Christmas and happy holidays, and leave. The cookie also sucked, way overcooked and significantly smaller than other subway cookies I have had in the past. This is not the mention the skimpy toppings, my girlfriend asking for more pickles and tomatoes 3 times before compliance with the request, me getting like 2 jalapeños on the entire footlong, and when asking for chipotle mayo she puts chipotle (which I had to ask for more of) AND THEN puts mayo on it too? Don’t even get me started on the meat portion.
The worst part? Subway is my girlfriend’s favorite, and this is the closest one to pur house! You could have had a loyal, recurring customer if only you had an inkling of hospitality and customer service know-how and weren’t...
Read moreI would give O stars if that option was available. A little over a week ago on Saturday afternoon around 2.30pm, me and my wife decided to grab a quick bite after we were done with our daily errands. Moment we walked in it felt very unwelcoming. It was empty, just us - no one was in. We could hear a women talking in the phone and she slowly made her self outwards towards sandwich prep area. She had her gloves on holding her phone. I asked her nicely that If I can get a footlong sandwich. She didn't greet me. Straight up said what kind of bread and sandwich? I said Multigrain bread. She said we don't have that bread. The menu seems it had a changeover or some updates which I was not familiar. I asked her for a chicken teriyaki. Then she replied that It would be no.16, then I answered it's okay then lets do it. Also, noted that she didn't change her gloves that was touching her filthy phone and all over the places. They didn't have the choice of my cheese. As soon as I requested the veggies of my choice to be in the sandwich, her rudeness kicked up in fifth gear. She goes " It is not the same as in no.16 menu- you are changing the recipe, blah blah blah." My wife and I were shocked at her attitude towards us. I kindly said to her, " Miss I have been eating in subway over 20 plus years and never heard of extra charge for customizing veggies ( Note - Not the avocado). I just simply wanted a Chicken Teriyaki sandwich with certain few veggies. And I don't think it is a big deal on doing that as usual." She rudely replied " Well it is not 20 years anymore, it is now. things changes, if you change it -then you have to pay for it." We were just simply wow! what a jerk. Never been treated like that ever in a restaurant where they brag about customer service and so on. We felt that we were judged and discriminated by the color of our skin from the moment we walked in. We simply did not want to give our business to one who discriminates and hates us. Her job was to make customers happy and leave satisfied. It seems that neither she want to be there nor us. We then just walked out from there and will never be stepping in there until she is gone or the store owner personally reaches out to us and...
Read moreStopped in to grab a sandwich after a 12 hour shift at work ordered a 12 inch Italian BMT and i made it a pro which is just shy of a $13.00 sandwich, i put lettuce pickles and asked for olives on the sandwich as well the person behind the counter put literally 6 pieces of olives on my footlong sandwich, i asked for more and was told that would be an additional charge for more olives on a $13.00 sandwich. I know the economy is tough but charging for more then 6 pieces of olives is this company struggling that bad we have to nickel and dime. Customers on a sandwich that already costs 12.54 plus tax. High prices quality is...
