This is a nice little park. A small pond that hosts RV boat races, bass and perch fishing, a playground with a couple of climbing and swing sets and a small kid water spout play area thing (it has flowers and dinosaurs that shoot water at kids). It's well maintained and, aside from the bugs during humid months and the excess of geese in the early spring and later fall, it is very clean. Dogs are allowed on leash. They also have a couple of fields (one new turf and one grass) where you can play soccer, football or baseball. There are a couple of tennis courts but they need to be serviced as far as the last time I was there. One of the nicest parts of this park is it's a short walk from the Stratford green. Which has restaurants, bars, a tea shop and ice cream. There's a small public parking section by the park but you can park on most streets with no problem or at the green and walk...
Read moreThis park is very family-friendly with lots of shade, a splash pad, and a nice playground for the kids. It’s a great place to walk around, enjoy nature, and spend quality family time. You’ll often see wildlife like turtles, birds, and frogs around the pond, which is always a fun surprise.
