I chose to go to Belleria on my own, a restaurant I normally frequent w friends and enjoy despite the often long dinner-hour waits and slow service. Tonight hardly anyone was there and I was delighted as I wanted merely to have a few bites of a warm meal before taking it to go for later, as i had to be somewhere to be but was hungry. The girl who brought me to a booth asked me if I needed a menu. I said I already knew what I wanted and she took my order. I also mentioned i was using my dine out card, a perk that is available for seniors and allows them to pick meals from a select menu. Presently another girl came to the table, possibly my actual waitress, and I mentioned I had just ordered my meal and was using my dine out card. I told her what my meal was and she asked me whether I wanted salad with it. I said, sure, and she further asked what kind of dressing i wanted. I told her. As I'm finishing up my salad, my eggplant parm arrives and I begin digging into that. Then the waitress, the second girl, comes back and says, I just want you to know since salad doesn't come w your meal, I'm going to have to charge you for that. I said, I shouldn't have to pay because I made clear more than once that I was ordering on my dine out card. I asked for the manager. Presently, a girl of about 12 arrived. I explained how the mistakes made were the responsibility of the establishment and not mine and so i should not be charged. She claimed I was to blame as well and insisted I pay the salad fee. Our exchange was filled w inappropriate statements like her referring to me as "you guys," which I asked her not to do as she was in fact addressing one person, an older adult. To make a long story short, I paid for that vapid salad, which I should not have had to do. This poor little manager even berated me for ordering w/o looking at the menu. It is not the five dollar charge that peeves me, rather, the rude to ignorant exchange w the so-called manager, Melinda, in which I was actually called out for being the problem, or rather being at fault for something that was the mistake of servers. I should clearly not have expected chi chi considerations from this establishment, but frankly the outright rudeness and appalling ignorance took me aback.

Recommendation: hire managers who know how to address customers and have ready solutions for culinary or other problems that come up, and don't resort to blaming or taking cheap shots at customers in order to compensate for their lack of knowledge re whats...

Just moved into town from chicago area, looking for good pizza place. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, boneless wings and fries. Picked everything up and i’m driving home, asked my partner to check the pizza to make sure there’s no ranch. He opens the box and the pizza is completely wrong, no biggie. i turn around and head back as i do so i call to let them know it was wrong, the girl on the phone seems clueless to what comes on the pizza in general. Whatever, i go back and and asked for everything to be remade, considering i’m going to be waiting, the other food is obviously going to get cold. they remake everything besides the wings and so after waiting 25 minutes i get home to find my pizza undercooked, BONE IN wings and unsalted fries. So yea don’t come here, looks like it’s being ran by children. also not a single! person! was wearing a mask.. i highly doubt they were allll vaccinated. would give no...

Everything was fine until we got to the main course. Appetizers good, service was good. The main course the Alfredo ravioli was terrible just straight butter and the sauce was basically congealed. Usually I wouldn’t say anything but it was disgusting. So I informed the server about the Alfredo and said to just take it back and then the manager came and asked if I would like more sauce and obviously I said no because the sauce was the issue. When I got the bill we noticed the the dinner was still on there after I said I didn’t want it and told them to keep it. We go up to pay and the manager basically gave me the run around and said it’s my problem because we didn’t like the sauce and refused to take the dinner off the bill (even tho the food had barely been touched). I just paid and left and I shouldn’t have even did that but I was over it and didn’t want to be a “Karen” lol but I definitely...

For an Italian eatery this place was pretty good. Not great but not bad either. The food was hot and fresh and the wait staff was excellent. I got cavatelli and meatballs and it was swimming in sauce. The meatballs were sort of bland but still quite good to eat. If I were to come back here I would ask for half the amount of sauce. The bread they provide is good it's fresh and hot coming from the oven. The house salad dressing was kind of odd I feel like it is a craft based Italian and then they put some kind of artificial bacon bits in it. So it's kind of a strange taste. It's not that it's unedible it's just odd. The one great thing about this place is the fact that the food is very well priced. You won't leave hungry and it won't completely obliterate your wallet.

We've had legendary pizza in Chicago and New York. Whenever we go to or through Youngstown, we stop for Belleria's because it is some of the very best of the best. This location in Struther's is classy without being stuffy. Service was superb and the place was immaculate. They have a lenghty menu of authentic Italian dishes, all of them over-the-top tasty. But don't miss the pizza! Here's the big surprise...the prices are more than reasonable, even quite a bargain. Truly great food at a low price in a comfortable and inviting setting. You'll be eager to go back. We are!
