Sadly, the experience was terrible. Our waitress was not courteous, attentive or even polite. But, especially disappointing, was the businesses inconsiderate dealings.
The restaurant industry, more than any other industry, has asked its customers to kindly understand their need to raise their prices (which they most certainly have done) due to the rising cost of food. This is completely reasonable. However, it would only seem fair that they too would show this same consideration to their customers (all are affected by the rising cost of living) by not nickel-and-diming them.
This establishment has a breakfast plate that costs over $18. My friend and I wanted to share this. It states on the menu that there is a $2 upcharge for sharing. I inquired as to whether this charge included slightly larger portions - I was bluntly told "no, the charge is for the extra plate." I decided that rather than pay $2 for an extra plate I would order a plate of their homemade hash (which costs over $7), $5 more than I would be paying for the upcharge. I was then rudely told that, even though I was planning on ordering a plate of food, they would still be charging me an additional $2 if I were to partake of any of the food from the $18 plate my friend was ordering.
The meal was delicious, but I go out to eat as much for the experience as I do for the food, and therefore... I will not be returning to this...
Read moreThis experience was a disappointment. I have been to Annie’s before for eat-in dining, but this time I was sick so I opted to order online (says Doordash Storefront, no fees). I placed the order without issue, paid online and sent my boyfriend to pick up our food. From the minute he arrived he was harassed by the staff who were questioning him about who placed the order and demanding he show them the phone with the order. They could not have been dealing with a more polite customer. The woman at the counter with the feather wrist tattoo told him “I need to see a phone,” waited for him to read off my entire phone number, and then yelled at him that she wanted to see the order confirmation. She also rudely reminded him that the order was placed through door dash (which technically it wasn’t… it was placed through their website via google. We did not even use the doordash app to order). It’s unusual for a kind well-meaning customer to be treated this way, but he feels like he went in there trying to rob the place based on how he was treated. We will not be back. I hope the staff see this and realize that customers can actually place online orders to their restaurant… at least now we know that they treat Doordash drivers...

I'm pretty sure the place's namesake "Annie" isn't around anymore but the food is great.
Plenty of parking - but take note to not park in the next door motel parking lot. You will be called out for that.
If you're a fairly decent home cook or enjoy "home cooked" food, Annie's is perfect for when you crave that type of food but just can't or don't or won't cook any. While they have regular deliveries of fresh and frozen food, the food available is the same as what you could buy for yourself in a store - but they cook it well!
Traditional breakfast items like pancakes, waffles, egg sandwiches, etc. All delicious and quickly served.
Lunch features staples like meatloaf, hamburgers, lasagna, etc. Again, all tasty and served with a smile.
Your best food experience with them will be dining in (if there's room: Sunday mornings for example can be standing room only). If you take out, beware. The food is put into styrofoam boxes and that makes your hit food get soft and soggy QUICK (like fries, anything breaded, bread, etc). So avoid take out unless you're going to eat it literally right away or you're starving so bad that you just don't care.
Great...
