Shoots Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Suamico

The previous reviews for this bar are so spot on. Suamico is a very small town so it's really one of the only local spots that can cater to all ages. We arrive around 6:45 pm on a Saturday for dinner and drinks as a group of 4. We found one open table and scooped it up. The age of the crowd was probably 35+, very flustered waitress, seemed confused but greeted us promptly, got our drinks and gave us some menus. She returned 25 minutes later to admit she forgot about us, very apologetic, took our order and put it in; no big deal, we had drinks and good company (plus good people watching). Food came out, very accurate and tasty (3 burgers and a small pizza). We never saw a waitstaff person again. After another 30 - 40 minutes we saw our little waitress run by so we flagged her for our check. Now, at this point, we notice the crowd has shifted to mostly 20 - 22 year olds ready to party...party on but time for us to go! We called for our uber back to our airbnb and his exact quote "I've never picked anyone up from Shoots before bar close". Gave us a good laugh and a reminder that we are now approaching 40 and bar close doesn't look good on us!

For those saying they only wait on regulars, I get it but think about it....they know those people and spend a lot of time getting to know them. The staff we interacted with definitely wasn't trying to be our new BFF but they weren't rude. You could easily point out the regulars, they were having a great time and...

UPDATED REVIEW: Tried Shoots again, stopped in for a burger on a weeknight. Much better this time around. The service was quick and friendly, and the burger was really good. 2 beers and a bacon cheeseburger for $20.00. They do have a fish fry on the menu now also. Maybe during the COVID summer of 2020 they had things scaled back and didn't offer a fish fry at that time. I will stop back in for a burger again. I will also come back for some of their live entertainment this summer. Changed my rating from 2 to 3 stars also.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: All the reviews to me seem to way over rate this place. The food is just so-so. They DO NOT have a Friday night fish fry. What kind of place in Wisconsin does not have a fish fry? We had some chicken wraps that were marginal at best. The waitresses are fairly young, kinda slow and don't really know what they offer for beers if you ask them. We were outside and the back area is really nothing more than a glorified fenced in area for beer parties...

I don’t know where to begin! First off their service is terrible here. I have tried to give this place a chance but enough is enough. Most of the bartenders here care more about themselves and who they like than their customers, they always have an attitude while working, and are just simply petty always finding drama. There have been situations at this bar that the owner refuses to address, he hides and deletes camera footage to protect himself and from losing the bar as he is on his last strike due to too many incidents and serving underage.
