The food was wonderful. Great flavor! I give four stars because the menu is a bit limited and the prices are a bit on the high side.
We visited from about 15 miles away and heard on “Living With Amy” that they had so many interesting and delicious styles of Eggs Benedict...so, that is what we came to check out! I tried to look online for a menu, but I didn’t have any luck in finding one. When we arrived, there was only one choice of Eggs Benedict (Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict -$16). My son, not a fan of seafood, asked if he could just do a traditional eggs Benedict instead and they said they weren’t able to. We chose the Butcher’s Omelet instead...it was delicious...but, with no menu description of what comes in it...we hoped for the best! So, total bill (with tip) was $64.00. Two omelettes, one crab cakes eggs Benedict, two coffees, and a tea. A tad steep for breakfast/brunch with no alcohol.
A suggestion to the restaurant, maybe post a daily menu online so that guests know what is available before making the drive in. Worth the drive, if we know what there is to order. Also, maybe a description of what is in each entree...The Butcher’s Omelette didn’t say anything but, “chefs choice of meat with toast and jam”.
Overall, delicious food...just some little menu kinks that were a...
Read moreSpectacular!!!!!!!!! I have been in all 50 states, multiple times. I can certainly say, I've had my fair share of breakfasts!! This one by far, this is one that I will remember most definitely!!
The taste of the omelette and how it was prepared and cookrd with its thin crepe-like layers and folding of the egg, (with local farm-freah veggies that rotate with what's available locally) left my mouth just wanting more and more. I coupled it with sourdough toast, ahhh but don't think THIS either is your normal toaster type toast.... no, no ,no... you WILL WANT MORE... the way this was toasted would make mebcome back every single day... but, coming from out-of-state means I will look forward to it during my next year's visit for sure!!!
I was thrilled to have met the owner ... the pride that was so apparent in her restaurant, the newly re-opening of the restaurant was well done and beautiful but, she exuded such humbleness, despute such great success.
It truly is one of those places that I hope gets the notoriety that it deserves!!!
Breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day and I tell you I have had my fair share of breakfasts across the U. S.. This one will definitely be at the TOP rankings of...
Read moreIt's not very often anymore that you find such a cute spot for breakfast!
Location is great! Quiet and serene is great on a Sunday!
Immediately when we walked in we were greeted welcomingly! I also noticed the cute decor throughout the cafe, you can pick your own mug for coffee ( how cute!)
When you walk in you place your order at the counter then find a seat. The menu was on the smaller side but everything was different from each other, which was great! Always makes it easier to decide!
You have the option to sit inside or outside and opted for outside because it's not very often you get a 70 degree Sunday morning in Wisconsin in September!
The staff worked incredible together, we could hear the communication between all of the workers in a peaceful and calm manner, which you don't get very often anymore!
We had mimosas to start and the flavor was WOW. Food came shortly after and I don't even know where to start! Portion was big but when it tastes that good who can argue! The ingredients were fresh and the flavor of our meals was perfect!
Well done Spork!
Would recommend to anyone looking for a brunch on the quiet and...
