Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in Sugar Land

This place is crazy over priced and unaware of promotions that are sent via text.

A small drink literally starts at $7 so crazy.

Beans and Brew sent the following text. "Beans & Brews: Teachers deserve all the coffee! 🎉 Enjoy any small drink for $2 at Beans & Brews, May 5-9. Just show your teacher ID in-store. Thank you! 💛"

As a teacher I went in the morning on the 5th showed my ID and the text message. They had no idea what I was talking about. The employee went to message the manager. He came back and informed me that the text message was basically wrong and they knew nothing about it. He then offered me a $2 off food coupon for later and said I can give you 20% off the drink. He made it seem like I was pulling a fast one on them.

I have paid full price for their drinks many times in support of a small business and never had a issue. If you are offering a promotion then you need to honor it.

The text had no restrictions. The text was frombeans & brew. The text clearly stated the promotion.

I have supported this business since they have been open, but after today I will never return especially after being made to feel like I made up some fake...

I read the reviews right before going and I understand where the issue is. Coffee is great, not an issue, but the problem with the food is it seems like these croissants and bagels aren’t fresh or even toasted, that they are microwaved. That’s how they get so hard or chewy if they aren’t eaten within minutes. Also, one thing they should change is offering ‘soft top’ to a drink when it’s extra, without letting the customer know. We casually say yes to things thinking it comes with the drink like how Starbucks asked if we want whip, but whip is free. A sandwich and a drink cost $14. It’s close to home and great service so I’ll be back but might avoid the food unless they change their cooking method. Also, meat and egg are way smaller than the bagel so felt...

🍓🍵Strawberry cold foam matcha (10/10): You guys, I have official turned into a matcha girly! I’ve tried a couple of different places and just never got the hype until I tried @ version. This was so delicious. The strawberry cold foam goes perfectly with the matcha. You can taste the strawberry flavor while the matcha also is present. Absolutely loved it! Will definitely get this again!
