I wanted to give minus stars but the system won't allow...
I literally had the worst Subway experience here today. I saw the poster of 4.99 footlong subs and thought, that's a good deal, and walked in.
All 3 employees were not-so-experienced teenagers, which I'm cool with it. I ordered the Black Forest ham sub, and the kid cut open my sub into a ziggy zaggy jigsaw shape, to which I thought, all right it's ok, newbies need to practice. I asked if I can have some extra meat, roasted beef to be exact, he said it's 3 dollars and I agreed. But then he put TWO SLICES of roasted beef into my footlong sub... Wow! 2 slices for 3 bucks, way to go Subway!
Then he put my sub into the oven to roast, and WENT INTO THE KITCHEN area to do whatever, restroom maybe. While the oven beeped 20 seconds after he left, he came back after 3 whole minutes (his fellow worker took it out for him). Couldn't you have waited a bit more and go to the toilet AFTER you finish your job? Apparently NO. And the veggies and sauce took a little longer than normal too.
Then finally pricing. I was thinking at the moment, 5 dollar sub plus 3 dollar extra meat, around 8 bucks. But they don't seem to have the authorization to tap that discount into my order, so one kid asked another for help, and kid No.2 called (I'm guessing) the manager) for suggestion. And after like 5 minutes of discussion, they finally he hung up and said to me, it's gonna be 15 dollars something. Forgive me here, I really don't remember how much was that "something", I guess the "FIFTEEN" part already struck me dumb. I swear to god, it was just one regular sub, plus TWO SLICES of roasted beef, and he's going to charge me the price of TWO REGULAR FOOTLONG subs, which I waited for more than 10 minutes! I thought I heard him wrong, so I confirmed "How much?", again he said 15 dollars something. Sorry I was again shocked by that "15" part and missed the "something" part.
I mean WHAT THE FXXX?!!!?!???!?!?! I was so pissed, and said "Forget it, I'm not taking it then." Stormed out. Not ever...
Read moreDate: June 28, Time: around 6pm. Interaction with Miguel.
I am a regular customer at this subway location and usually enjoy ordering online. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. On June 28 around 6pm, I came into the store with my little one and realized I mistakenly ordered two tuna sandwiches instead of my usual one tuna and one veggie patty. When I went inside to correct the mistake, Miguel, the sandwich preparer, refused to help. He said he couldn't change the order because "his owner watches and his job would be in trouble."
Really? As a customer standing right in front of him, I expected better service. Miguel's response was pathetic and shows a complete lack of proper training. It's just a 10-cent difference, and I was willing to pay the difference. Instead, he suggested I cancel and reorder, without even knowing if my reward points would be refunded.
I ended up having to place a new order for the veggie patty, which I should not have had to do. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was given the runaround, with Miguel saying the owner would be in at a certain time. Am I supposed to wait around for that?
This is directed to the owner: Your staff needs proper training on customer service. This experience was unacceptable and unreliable. I don't need two tuna sandwiches. I needed one tuna and one veggie patty, and your employee's inability to handle a simple situation cost me time and money.
Pathetic service. Unreliable staff. This kind of treatment is not what I expect from this...
Read moreI don't even know where to begin. I've never had worse service at a Subway. There were only 2 people eating in the store. No other customer than myself. No greeting at all. There were 2 workers. I stood at the counter waiting to order for about 2 minutes while one lady stood there wiping off the bread racks. Another young man was putting what I'm guessing was an online order in a bag. After several minutes the lady spoke to him and he walked over and asked if he could help me. I asked if the store had veggie patties. He mumbled something and walked off. I thought maybe he was getting some from the back. After several more minutes he came back and started sweeping the floor! Finally the lady stopped wiping the racks and asked me what I wanted. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times as I couldn't understand her. So while she started my order the young man continued sweeping the floor just a few feet from the counter. As I was placing an order for others and not eating in the store, I asked if I could have the dressing on the side so the sandwiches wouldn't get mushy. She told me she couldn't do that. "They don't give dressing on the side." Okay. That's a first. I'm always very generous and give a tip when folks make that extra attempt to make your sandwich well. Needless to say there was no tip given. Once home and went to eat the sandwiches, all parties commented that the bread tasted like day old bread. Worst customer service today at...
