Edit: Saturday, January 11th, 2025 @10:30am TaeLani was a great server. The service with the food has become consistently faster! That was one of my biggest drawbacks. I do unfortunately have a new drawback, the parking situation may become hectic with the opening of the coffee shop next door.
12pm Saturday, August 2nd
Parking lot is shared. There looks like a lot of parking opportunities.
Absolutely stunning decorum & ambiance. That's just the waiting area!
It's a new business and unfortunately it's obvious at certain moments. One moment came when being seated. The venue is massive and it was maybe a ⅓ of its capacity limit, but there is still a 15-20 minute wait to be seated. We asked can we sit at the bar and we're told it would still be a 15 to 20 minute wait even if we sat at the bar. That didn't make sense but we said okay and proceeded to the bar. Once at the bar a server proceeded to service maybe within 3 to 5 minutes of sitting down. Then she asked if we would prefer to sit in a booth and move this to a booth. I felt bad for the people who we skipped but not bad enough to wait the full time. Hopefully they sort out that confusion.
The restaurant is incredibly beautiful! It felt high end but the prices were extremely affordable! I love a filling meal that's affordable.
Speaking of which, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! The potatoes could have been salted more but that's me knit picking. I had the breakfast burrito (uber filling if you're hungry). The brisket made me wonder if they have the meat on the grill in the back slow cooking. It was absolutely scrumptious! My girl and I shared the Cinnamon pancake... whew! It didn't need syrup, also, DON'T SHARE. I should have ordered my own. That pancake was a testament to all that is good in the world. She also had a sunrise bowl and I've never seen her finish her food at a restaurant. That tells me either it was incredible or she was hungry. I vote both but more so the former rather than the latter.
Service was phenomenal. Everyone there seemed genuine when checking in on you. Multiple servers passed by and asked if all was good, but it wasn't overwhelming. The owner's daughter was very helpful as well but ChiChi was exceptional.
I would like to suggest a door for the opening next to the bar and tray holders for the food. Right now, they are placing trays on empty tables to serve. That's isn't bad now, but when word gets out about how delectable, beautiful and affordable their food is... tables will be filled with patrons.
This is my new breakfast restaurant. I'll...
Read moreGreat spot from the moment we arrived. The details make the space so inviting and pleasant. It is a louder space but you're well spaced from people around you so it's not distracting. I did not find my chair particularly comfortable as a larger person; it wasn't so bad that I couldn't sit there for the hour or so while we dined but be warned larger potential guests. Booths could be good as long as the table isn't affixed to the ground. The parking lot was almost full when we arrived but we didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes for a spot. One thing I found interesting about the flow of service is that it doesn't feel like people are rushing about. They were busy with a mostly full restaurant but food is made to order, servers aren't zooming around and the energy is very calm. It does mean you will be here for longer and wait for food and people to come check on you etc. but it felt nice to not be rushed through the experience. I got an iced coffee that wasn't as strong as I take it but it did taste like a sweet coffee treat. I ordered the chilaquiles and as a child with a Hispanic mom I was very impressed. The style of chip held up PERFECTLY. The green sauce was acidic, flavorsome, well seasoned and had good texture and kick! I did wish the sauce was distributed better through the layers but the server gave me a tip for next time to get it on the side. Not sure if it would be AS good but a good idea for sure. I asked for an over medium egg but got over easy. I understand the technique can be hard, I can't do it at my house so I appreciate them trying! The major issue was the black beans, flavor was good, well seasoned but way too runny. That just takes practice too. Partner got chicken and waffles. The chicken was absolutely spot on, so juicy, crispy, light batter with well balanced seasonings!! The waffle was not crispy on the outside or fluffy on the inside, more chewy as if the batter was whipped too hard and too much gluten formed, the batter also was not seasoned. The syrup was very tasty. The potatoes on the side were also perfectly done, seasoned and a great portion size. One of my favorite things about this place was the decore. So inviting, cozy, well lit but not too bright and the colors were all so pleasing to the eye. The restrooms were so comfortable, smelled lovely and the actual privacy with the type of stalls they have was very nice. All the staff was kind, accommodating and happy to help. Definitely want to come back and try some of the other tasty looking items...
Read moreI wish I could give this place zero a star before you read my review you have to be open-minded and I understand why I am giving one star to this place. January 1st 2025 it was party of seven we went to the restaurant at 11:30 in the morning to have our breakfast. When we get there we were told it would take 20 minutes for us to get a table and we have seen there's more than two table were open and we still waited because that was our first time coming to this restaurant then after 20 minutes table was not ready and we recommended the waitress that if we could add a table together and get seated and she didn't know or probably her brain didn't work and she said yeah okay let's go put it together then we set and our waiting game started it took us 15 minutes to get hard drinks, we couldn't find our waitress after a long wait she came back to us and told us that it would take another 20 minutes to get the food and her explanation was the kitchen is backed up and I looked around and there wasn't many table that kitchen would get backed up it wasn't busy at all and people came after us they already got their food long story short by this time we got our food and we finished and laughed it was 2:30 so now you calculate 11:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. we got our food and we could have walked out. But I wanted to see that how far these people are dismanagement is overlooking the customer service. For management for customer service lack of training it's making this place horrible and I'm pretty sure that we won't be coming back if the management does not try to fix their problem. I don't want any composition I want this place to continue growing with the neighborhood customers but if they are giving this kind of customer service it won't be too long that they're going to have to close the place. Please work on your customer service and management please you need to be on the floor keep an eye on to see what's going on in your restaurant otherwise just go ahead and lock the door this business is not for you. Also everything that I said to in my review. Management is most welcome to review the camera...
