Henry's BBQ Restaurant — Restaurant in Summerville

I went to Henrys for lunch one day a week or so ago. I was ordering my food when I was interrupted at the window by a lady that was complaining that her tea was not sweet enough (first of all, I have always loved their tea because it was not sugar water with a little bit of tea in it. So that's a personal opinion). This lady did not drive back around the drive-thru to complain, no, what she did was walk back up to the drive thru window, prop herself up on my car, while standing right in my face (uhm, hello, COVID)

Anyway, I got on here to say this. Despite the fact that this lady just rudely interrupted me taking my order AND the working ladies that were trying to take my order, the workers handled the situation with such grace, and showed Jesus! They did not get rude with her, they promptly got her something different and apologized so that they could take care of my order in a timely manner, and they did! I love Henrys BBQ, the food is top notch, the service is over the top!

Listen people, everybody has a preference... All BBQ is not created equal, all sweet tea is not created equal. People however, to Henrys BBQ IS created equal, and we all deserve patience, kindness, and...

First time we've had Henry's since they changed their hours and menu and we were very pleased! The bbq pork is incredible, might be the best I've ever had! Great cole slaw, potato salad and corn nuggets, although they were a little greasy. If I can make a suggestion it would be to include a whole bun instead of half a bun on the dinner plates....

Was good and cheap before COVID and before Mrs. Henry retired. After she left things started to change like for example the attitude of some of the food cooks or lady's that prepped the food.
