Hibachi Fusion — Restaurant in Summerville

First of all I do not know how good the food is here or the service. I'm just telling you the experience that I just had. I picked up a GrubHub delivery from here. I felt very disrespected by the lady that works here. She acted like I was trying to steal the food. I've been doing GrubHub for a few years now. And I did doordash before then I've been doing these apps for a while and know what I'm doing. She saw that I swiped and I confirmed that I had to drink and I had. She came chasing me around the counter leaving to go out the door screaming and yelling in front of all her customers that I had not confirm the order. And I need to press it one more time. I had already confirmed that I got the drink and I had got the food. You do not press the button and say that you're leaving until you get in your car to head towards the customer. She wanted me to confirm that I was already in my car delivering the order before I even was there. I thought it was very rude of her to think that I was trying to steal their food. Cuz that's exactly how she was acting and she was doing it in front of all her customers that were in there but she had a nice full restaurant full of people for the small restaurant that it was. Please if this ain't the owner of the restaurant have they talked with her about not being so disrespectful to drivers. And telling them how to do their job I had already pushed the button and swiped saying I had the drink and I had the food. We ordered several dishes online last night for dinner. I thought we could give this place a try based on the good reviews. Sort of a date night at home with our baby. When my husband went to pick up the order, they said they didn't get the order and therefore didn't have it ready at the time quoted. So, after a lot of back and forth, they find the order and he has to sit there waiting for it to be prepared. Okay, things happen, moving on. As he is sitting there he realizes how dirty it is, especially the hibachi station. We're not excited about that but will try the food anyway since we already paid for everything and went through trying to get them to find it and having them make it. The food itself was just okay but not really good. The banana fusion is similar to banana fritters but with not much taste at all. The red bean ice cream was the best thing we ate here. I got the house soup and my husband got the miso. He liked his but my traditional onion soup/house soup was watered down or like they didn't have enough so they added some of the miso to it. The hibachi steak and shrimp was okay but not the best I've had and after what he saw at the restaurant, we really didn't want to eat it. You do get a lot of the proteins in it though, which is a plus. I didn't care for the rice as it seemed to have teriyaki or soy sauce saturating it.We got the rolls and again they were okay but a bit messy. The steamed dumplings were better than the other stuff. The pricing was not bad. We got all that and with a tip it was around $62. I just wish the food had been better. I don't think...

The worst service I've ever had. The owner is VERY rude!! It was my first and last visit!! This place needs to be shut down! My experience: my fiancé went in and ordered his food to go not knowing me and the kids were just going to come in to eat while we waited for our movie to start. (Movie theater right next door). Well we ordered our food as usual. They have a really nice wait staff I must add!! The waitress came back and said her boss told her my daughter couldn't order off the kids menu because she isn't 8. Ok fine. He walks over to the table.... my fiancé had his to go order at this time.... ask if my daughter was eight. We said she's 7 actually ( she's a big 7). Before walking off he told my fiancé he couldn't eat inside the restaurant in a to go box. My fiancé explained(which I don't see why he bothered) that I came in and ordered me and the kids dine in. Well the owner got nasty and rude. The said he was canceling our(me and the kids) order. I never exchanged words with him so why did my order get cancelled. He then said we had to pay for the drinks. I had water my kids had drinks they took to sips. Full glasses!!! We left. He said he canceled the order. While leaving he took our pics (like we were running) and went and got an officer. Even she looked at him like he was crazy after hearing the story! He ended up apologizing to us. But it was to late. He's awful awful awful!!...
