La Focaccia is one of the best restaurants in the area, in our experience. We have been dining there for years occasionally. They know how to run a good restaurant.
Experience - the experience is always very good. They are always welcoming and kind.
Service - the service is generally quite good. Attentive, but not overpowering.
Food - All of the food is outstanding, including the specials.
Overall, the value is very good. We like that it is BYO.

It can occasionally be hard to park at this location, but usually isn't a problem. There is always the Uber option.
While the atmosphere is nice, depending on your table assignment, it can be a bit tight with some tables close to one another.
Update
I’m updating my review, with no change to the 5-star rating, based on additional experience at La Focaccia and have the following feedback. Again, they run a very good restaurant and we have admired how they have grown it.
Food and service- the food quality is excellent. We like how they have evolved the menu and specials. The service is very good.

Experience - as they have grown the business, the restaurant has sometimes become a more chaotic experience. For example, there are more tables closer together. I think there are now too many tables; there are some tables without any space between tables to walk to the other side of the table or sit without being up against chairs behind you. This can adversely affect the experience at La Focaccia. In addition, on a recent Saturday we were advised of various “rules” by our server (who was very good), such as (a) they must take the full order at once, (b) they must take the order in a specific order for runners, and (b) they must pour the wine. These are good rules and this is a lesser significant point, but no one wants to hear the word “rules” at dinner on Saturday night, so I think they could be messaged better (e.g., “we want to stage your meal and pour your wine to make your experience special this evening”).
Expansion - La Focaccia’s patronage could probably support them opening another restaurant. Maybe that would create some capacity to enhance the experience at this location.
Just my opinions and suggestions here, offered with...
Read moreMy daughter and I had one of the worst experience at this restaurant. We had frequented this restaurant as a family multiple times in the past with great food and service. Tonight was the complete antithesis to a good experience.
In addition to the server forgetting items that we ordered, our food order was forgotten and once they realized their mistakes they hastily prepared the meal. We were asked what we wanted for desert before they even brought our dinner The steak was unseasoned and the pasta was beyond al dente.
All this could have been overlooked. We hardly ate the steak and asked for it to be packed with the fries. When we got in the car we realized they forgot to pack it with our other "To Go" order. I went back in and they brought out a container with steak. Only problem was that it was a different cut , cold and grey in appearance. They probably threw it away and tried to substitute it with whatever garbage they had in the back. In addition, the fries were not there so the assumption was they tossed our order. They had the audacity to serve us some piece of garbage
Then we called the owner. His response was that he didn't care and that he has been in town for 25 years. This is a response from a business owner who has no concept of providing quality service especially when patrons are spending hundreds of dollars at his restaurant.
We will not be ever returning to this place again. Because if the owner doesn't care about our experience, in my experience that kind of mentality often permeates the entire establishment. There are plenty of quality restaurants to chose from in the...
Read moreOverall this was a Mother's day dinner with extended family. If it wasn't for the company I would have enjoyed it much less. The staff were very friendly and had a positve demeanor. The seafood is excellent, the chocolate lava desert was apparently very good and the kid's spaghetti and meatballs was tasty. Definitely bring your own wine as they do not have a liquour license. There is also plenty of off street parking.
I will not be going again, however. When I asked for a soda twice, they didn't ask what kind I would like. Só you need to be specific. We also had my daughter's first ever competition start about 3 hours before our reservation, but it went over só we were almost an hour late and were "teased" by the staff for being late. Our companions got there on time and insiste we come even though we let everyone know we would be late and had them submit our orders for us. My chicken was burnt, and my cheese cake had very little sauce, it didn't taste like cheese cake to me, and the gram cracker crust was too thick and dry for my taste. I like a crumbly tangy flavor. Considering you will spend an average if $50 a person before tip. I would suggest sticking to seafood.
Plus do not go close to closing time as they will rush you out. Also make sure that you tell them to split the check...
