To the right, 3rd booth against the far wall. Been coming for a few years with my daughter. I lost her two years ago after she fell ill. So the history is in place. Now let's add being a recognized customer, very good and attentive service. Never would it be thought that a flawed meal could every be served. But the other evening, pretty late, like 9 o'clock, there were two. So I ordered a giant entree called, Land and Sea. Steak, lobster, stuffed shrimp, a baked potato, a huge salad. My salad was awesome with blue cheese dressing and had a nice mix of cucumber, tomato, onion, carrot and leaf lettuce. My girlfriend had a bowl of chicken with rice soup that was also delicious. The dinner rolls were just okay. Serving them warm might be the way to go. Something went dreadfully wrong with our entrees. My girlfriend ordered a daily special, chicken pot pie. I thought it was pretty good but she found it to creamy and I would agree that there was hardly any chicken. Not much fun when your star ingredient is replaced with peas and carrots. The real problem came with the Land and Sea entree. Although not a total flop, the sliced steak was tender and delicious. The lobster meat was good but I was looking for some wow factor especially since this is a $25.00 entree. The real problem came with the crab stuffed shrimp. Without knowing what the vile flavor was, I can say that it was a cross between some kind of chemical and really bad freezer burn. I'm so not one to complain but had to say something because there was no way those shrimp stuffed should have been served to anyone else. Let finish up with the cheese cake and lemoncello cake. Both very good but portions were on the small side. Shocking since most portions are on the large side. The small salad can easily feed two people. I'll end this review by saying that our waitress, Liz, was great, personable and professional. The manager took my entree off the bill and and fixed an overcharge with the lemon cake. Despite a poor visit, I still love the Broadway diner. We cannot forget they have the world's best pancakes. I will return for my eggs Benedict but I sure hope this does not happen again or I may need to find a new diner.

Best diner in the Florham Park-Chatham-Madison-Summit area. I went there for Sunday brunch with a friend and the food was absolutely delicious and so fresh! I ordered avocado toast with fried egg and a side of pancakes. The avocado was fresh and ripe. The multi grain bread the avocado was on tasted so good m; very similar to homemade bread. The egg was cooked to my likening and the side of pancakes were not only yummy but adorable. Perfect to share with my friend and not feel guilty about the extra calories. I ordered a latte and the espresso tasted fresh and my friend order a carafe of coffee and she said she enjoyed it. I will def come back again :)

Late Weekday Lunch: The best Chicken Pesto Panni ever! Loaded with flavor on a toasted to perfection pita...very juicy so catch it off of the juices before it gets soggy. Onion rings crunchy to perfection. Cannot wait to try the "best" pancakes. My friend's sliced Turkey platter (Thanksgiving) was amazing looking and she had half of it wrapped to take home. I took half of my sandwich home too. Great food! Sunday Lunch: I had the hot pastrami sandwich on toasted rye it was amazing! The best one I've ever had! Service is a little slow, but the place has been busy each time I've been there.

Great that it's open 24/7, probably the only place near me that is. The food doesn't taste amazing, but it will satisfy hunger after a night out or a midnight craving. Service is usually good, but when they're more than a few people eating, our orders took way too long and we were ignored by the waiter -- although she was extremely nice and chit-chatty.

I would recommend getting the sodas and drinks... I always get disco fries but the disco fries aren't good, after a few fries, the taste gets .. it is a good portion though. Deserts are good, and pancakes are good as well.

Burgers are alright... Although some people say the pizza burger is good, I find it off-putting. Pizzas and burgers shouldn't go together in my opinion.

Being open 24/7 shows in the waiters/waitresses, who are very direct but sometimes snappy on bad days (with bad customers). It's understandable, but sometimes things are just misunderstood.

The milkshakes are pretty good, but the malted milkshakes are REALLY good (almost like if you liquidised a malt ball and a milk dud together. Kind of surprised that my mint chocolate chip shake came out in this weird white color, but it tasted pretty good. Only thing was that the menu was confusing in stating that you could get "three scoops of your favorite ice cream (and the plural of ice cream is ice cream)". I assumed this meant combining flavors but the waitress assumed I wanted separate milkshakes. In the end, I just went with three scoops of mint chocolate chip. It was...

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and only recently have had poor/weird experiences. The food is good, the staff is usually nice, but the past few times I’ve went they’ve been bizarrely rude. One waitress didn’t greet us, when we sat down she slapped the menus on the table and didn’t say anything else, barely spoke to us, rolled her eyes at us, and generally just seemed pretty annoyed. I chalked it up to her probably having a bad day as all we humans do, and I’ve worked in restaurants and diners and I know how exhausting it is. I went recently late at night and was told by the cashier (who I think might also be the manager?) to leave a tip because the waitress was angry because we apparently didn’t order enough food and they “lost a table” (it was 2 am and there were four other customers in the diner). The fact that he assumed we weren’t going to leave a tip was weird and borderline offensive itself, but I can’t imagine ever having the gall to say that to a customer and I don’t know anyone else in the world that would. I don’t think we were exceptionally annoying or anything, my friend’s laugh was a little loud but other than that I don’t see the reason why he would be so rude to us. The waitress seemed very tired and not in the best of moods, but she wasn’t rude by any means and was nice enough. This place is worth a try but I guess be careful to order sufficient food if you...
