The worst experience with Domino’s to date…
For a quick afternoon snack (at least I thought it would be quick) I ordered a medium cheese pizza with stuffed crust and garlic knots at 4:34 PM. The tracker told me 20-30 minutes. I noticed that my tracker was not moving at all, so I went to the window, a young man, who I found out is a driver, opened the window and told me only two people were there And that my food would be about another 10-15 minutes. At this time, it was almost 5 o’clock. I went back to the window 12 minutes later and that same guy came to the window, started opening it, realized it was me and then shut the window back and walked away. That is when I proceeded to head inside. A very nice young lady at the register (wish I had gotten her name), looked up my order and told me that it showed completed, but when she looked for my food, it was not in the boxes waiting for me, instead, it was in the oven. When it did finally get out of the oven, a guy started boxing it and missed putting Parmesan cheese on my crust. I asked the young lady to let him know that Parmesan cheese was missing on the crust and he instantly flipped out on her with an attitude And told her that she needs to do it the next time. I did not get my food until 5:26 PM. The manager walked up as the guy was being loud with the young lady and he began to talk to the guy, who I found out was also a driver, and it seemed like a heated exchange. I could not hear what was being said, so I don’t know what was said, but I did want to make sure that the young lady did not get in trouble for relaying my message to the guy that was fixing my pizza. The manager then said in front of me that the young lady knew more about the pizza than the driver and she could have been back there doing it. She told me she had just come in, so I know there was no way for her to know that my pizza had not been done until I walked in there. I then told the manager that he and the driver should not be getting on her for letting me know what was going on with my pizza that I had ordered almost an hour ago. The manager then told me that his employees that were supposed to come in did not come in therefore he was there by himself fixing the pizzas. As a business owner myself, I understand how it is when you have employees that do not show up to work, but you do not Blame anybody in front of a customer. Instead you take accountability and You do what you have to do in order to remedy the problem and make the customer happy. He offered no solution until after I asked what was he going to do to satisfy my wait time. He only offered me a bottle of soda and then walked away.
This is not the first time that I’ve had an issue with this Domino’s, but I decided to try and give them another chance because I know that they are fairly new. This Domino’s is beginning to be worse than the first Domino’s in Sumter. I am not sure if more people need to be hired or if some more training needs to be done, but today’s encounters was a poor reflection of that particular location as well as the...
Read moreI placed an order for almost $70 on August 9th. I placed this order a little after 8pm. Our food did not arrive until close to 11pm, even though the tracker showed the food was delivered 30 min prior. Our food was not edible. I called the store, and sat on hold until they closed. I called the next day and I was put on hold. I drove to the store while still holding for a "team member" as I walked in the door, imagine my surprise when there were two employees standing around with cell phones in hand. I explained everything she took my info and told me the manager that was on duty would call me back. That this was not the first time this manager has had these kinds of complaints so we will refund your order and remake it but that manager would be the one who has to make it right. This was on the 10th. I have yet to hear from someone. I have called on many occasions. I finally spoke to someone on the 19th. I went through the whole spill with another "team member" . He said he was calling his manager and would call me back. Well you guessed it, no call back. I called today and spoke to the manager on duty and explained everything he said, I am going to place you on a hold to finish up this order real quick. I am currently sitting here on hold for the past 33min. The sad thing is this is a new store. Retraining is needed....
Read moreMultiple occasions, experiences, items, and orders have all been pretty terrible here. The last time we walked to the store- it's like 300 feet away from houses- the workers completely ignored us trying to get their attention after 20 minutes waiting in the car, and then 10 minutes waiting in the store AFTER the order had been "completed" in the app. That was just carryout! No explanation offered and most of the workers sat around the oven facing away from us on their phones. Their delivery times are even far, far worse- we ordered delivery to our place JUST DOWN THE ROAD, and our pizza NEVER arrived! it took 3+ hours to finally get a refund- they gave us a huge run around for that, too. One of the workers PUNCHED the wall after I had to raise my voice to get their attention for the last carryout. I said it's either "just a minute" like they said repeatedly (no one would talk to me otherwise to explain wtf was going on) and we had already been told "a minute" when it took over 15 minutes since the last "just a minute". The food was BURNT. Prior orders also have been mostly wrong- getting wrong items, missing items, and just...
