Subway — Restaurant in Sun City

I brought my daughter in after her game as this is her favorite place to eat when we do have to money to eat out. This location was new to us and I wish we went to our normal subway. The employees were nice but once they get done making our 2 footlong sandwiches and its time to pay, I tried to scan my coupon and the guy said this store doesn't accept coupons. Wait, what? He said the owners refuse to take coupons. So, I'm left standing there counting in my head if I have enough money in my account to pay for this. I ask our total and it was $29 and some change. I thought about walking out because I just can't afford that, that's why I had a coupon. I felt pressured to pay the money or look like an idiot in front of many customers and my daughter. This was a treat for her WITH the coupon. But, now I paid almost $30 for 2 sandwiches. I can't believe that just happened. I will never return to this location. I'm sure so many seniors rely on coupons to use here and then end up like I did at the register. Do...

I have never had a bad experience at this Subway, but it seems they may be under new management... The lady who helped me and my fiance seemed extemely annoyed the moment we started our order of 3 footlongs, slamming the door to the bread cabinet and sub toaster. I didnt really think much about it, until she started to put veggies on my sub... I asked for all veggies, and I got all the veggies all right! A decent amount of iceberg, 6 leaves of baby spinach, 4 olives, minimal other veggies, and yes I did ask for more... BUT THEN she actually dug through the tomato slices as the line grew behind us, not to give me the redest juiciest slices, but the crunchiest and whitest slices as well as the end slices!! Wow! We left with the skimpiest subs we have ever gotten from a Subway. All that being said, from what we could tell this Subway was clean and everything seemed fresh. I usually love Subway but this was the worst experience ever. First off, couldn't get the app to work. I asked the guy behind the counter if I could get the special by ordering in store and he said no, only on the app. I finally got the app to work, ordered our 3 subs and it said the discount would be applied during checkout. The special was buy 2 footlongs and get a 3rd one free. I got stuck paying full price for all three. There were 2 people working, looked like one was very new and being trained. They weren't going to put any sauces or cheese on any of the sandwiches except the Philly steak, I had to ask for it. Keep in mind, I ordered on my app, normally I wouldn't have been there to see nothing being put on them. Once I got home to eat, I opened my sandwich and there wasn't hardly any meat and what there was, was very dry. The other 2 sandwiches weren't much better.
