Heads up guys if you have an app ...don't go here to redeem your free sandwich.......
So on my app popped up I had free sandwich that i could redeem and said it was redeemable at the window. I get to the window and reach out to show the cashier and I get a frown... umm we don't even have anything to scan this... I look at the app ...it says popeyes and says was redeemable at the window. She says I guess we will have to call corporate and see why they are sending people in without having a scanner .... and as I am wanting for either and apology or for her to even check with a manager or another coworker to possibly resolve this issue. She gets on her mic and say I'd dealing with this guy at the window. Then waited for me to leave the drive thru. Wow such customer service š.
I was super excited to get my favorite sandwich and now I'm wondering if it is a good sandwich because that customer service left a foul taste in my mouth... crazy
Update: I reached out to Popeyes support via the app. I received a letter that reads. Thank you for reaching out to Popeyes Digital Support! Iām so sorry to hear about the issue youāve run into with your rewards experience. Iāve gone ahead and added an additional 250 Rewards points to your account for the trouble that you can apply to your next meal with us.
Overall I'm great full for the points but hopefully I'll be able to use them. I am grateful that they have apologized and gave me more points but I hope the issue with not being able to use our rewards gets fixed ... ... thank...

I waited at the window for over 10 mins and then I was asked to move to the parking lot to get my food. Three other cars came in after me and waited in the same parking lot. We waited for 30 mins before anyone got their food taken to them. The guy taking out the food had no sense of urgency and another customer asked to speak to a manager. Fast forward another 15 mins and their food was finally taken to them but the answer they received on why they waited so long was that they are busy...Keep in mind there was no line when I went in the drive thru and I was before them. I waited another 15 mins making my total wait time 45 mins now and eventually I went inside to see what the problem was. Only to find out from the manager that they were ALL OUT OF CHICKEN TENDERS!!! Like when was I going to be told about that??? I asked for a refund and as I was waiting for my refund someone else that worked for DoorDash came in upset saying that he always has a problem when he deals with this Popeyes franchise. The reason I am writing this long review is that I hope the franchise owners care to make a VAST improvement to their locations staff. I wish I could give zero stars to this business for the utter lack of professionalism and basic human interaction. I walked in to pick up an order and the gentleman who looks completely out of it or under the influence did not so much as acknowledge my presence or say anything. He dastardly came to register unenthused and attempted to figure out the order I was looking for. He didnāt find it. He then gave up and asked NO ONE for help just looking around confused until another gentleman came from the drive thru looked for it on the register and printed out a receipt. He a also din nothing⦠didnāt start the order, didnāt apologize, didnāt even acknowledge that I was just standing there trying to pick up food. It was then that, among the hilarious laughter that they were all going on about, that a third person came into barely start the order! She along with her coworkers thought something was funny apparently and she painfully gave her best lackluster effort to put together a single order. Also did not apologize, not even said Iāll have it out in a bit, no acknowledgement whatsoever. I got my order finally and left saying that this is the worst establishment I have been to ever!
