Best pizza on the planet. Period. I've been lucky enough to enjoy Pizza Chef for the last 30 years, and I can honestly say they have not once relinquished their spot on my list as my favorite pizza place. Believe it or not, I still remember a "paper" I wrote in 4th grade about my idyllic "Best Day". Yes, that day included Pizza Chef for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The team at Pizza Chef has been able to consistently provide a pizza that scores high in all categories. Great cheese/topping ratio. Perfect balance of crispy crust, moistened by the perfect amount of sauce -- light overall, with pockets to catch every third bite with forward notes of that incredible savory-sweet sauce. The crust is where it belongs, a structural component to help you pilot the slice into it's wonderful demise; not overstated, not "bready", not tough... just a nice light/bubbly last few bites that leaves you wanting to go back and do it all over again. Fresh slice moisture content is perfection, even on a super-veggie pizza -- I've never had another slice that could handle the quantity of vegetables without losing the moisture battle. And their bacon? Incredible. Did I mention the sauce? The sauce!!!!
Thanks Pizza Chef, keep up...

The veal was topped with mozzarella and provolone, the meatball had only mozzarella and American cheese on the steak sandwich.
The steak was pleasantly tender but the meatball and veal was over heated. On my visit I had to request no ice in my drink and the older gentleman "watching" the front desk responded with disdain, but the female attendant saw to my request promptly.
The dining area is clean and well maintained. I would come back to try the fresh salad, but I fear I may get less than fresh.
Overall not a bad place on the way through. Definitely worth a stop for...
Read moreWe just stopped here because our dog threw up in the backseat of our truck. I had a trash bag and paper towels to clean it up, with no intention of leaving anything behind. we had to walk to dog , on leash, so I could clean it up. this is when someone came out and said "this is private property you can't have your dog poop on our property." for a small local business this is astonishing behavior. We always eat at the local Pizza Chefs and live locally. Instead of asking if we were ok they immediately thought the worst. shame on whoever that was and we will never stop for...
