Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Sunbury

I grew up eating at this restaurant and remember it being a positive experience; however, on my last two trips here during visits back home, my experience has been subpar.

I was very surprised to see how little food was on my sub. There was one tomato, a small sprinkling of lettuce, and only 3-4 small pieces of onion. The amount of turkey was also very thin. The meatballs in another sub in our order were cut in half to "fill" the sub as opposed to how it used to be full sized meatballs. We were also missing condiments that were requested on the side. During our last visit, the chicken parmesan came WITHOUT chicken.

In addition to our concerns regarding our food, the customer service was only so-so. The woman on the phone who took the order was very short and I had to request the order to be read back to ensure correctness, where typically that is done without asking. The delivery driver, however, was very polite and had good customer service.

I love their cheese pizza. So good. Had a pizza and plain bread Sunday night. My girlfriend got stuff. We both really enjoyed it. The only think that could be better is I'm counting my calories and Sunday night is a cheat meal, so we got this. No clue how many calories on anything. Can't find anything on their website, social media, google, nothing.

If I knew calories I could have more and fit it in my daily calories, but I just had to guess. If anything I under ate that day because I guessed a single cheese slice of pizza is anywhere from 200-400 calories.

Additionally, my girlfriend and her mother always recommend checking you receipt because they do some shady business. They've been known to add a tip without saying, increase prices after ordering, etc etc. We probably order 6-10 times a year. Noticed at least 4 occasions.

OIP gets all my respect!! Dominoes left my pizza outside on top of a bag fertilizer without even knocking or ringing the doorbell and I didn’t put in for contactless delivery or anything and it had no sauce on it and it was cold and nasty. I took one bite spit it out and threw it! Never again but OIP is AMAZING and they value their customer and ALL their is soooo good and fresh and amazing and they are very polite and respectful! High fives!!! Great employees! They hire good people! 5+ stars!! Good job!! Keep it up for real!! There isn’t many places to order from in Sunbury. OIP in my opinion is the best period. Never order from Dominoes in Sunbury or ANYWHERE. Disrespectful people over there and they’re ugly geeky nerdy lil weirdos. OIP all day!!...
