The Diner and Bingo — Restaurant in Sunbury

I love the look and feel of this place, but it was probably the longest Ive ever had to wait. We were a big group, so I was okay with us needing to wait for a bit longer than expected, but it took us all about 2 hours to receive our food. When I received my dish, the food was bland (others enjoyed their dish though, so I may be a one-off). The kitchen also messed up about 1/4 of our orders. Great atmosphere so relaxing something different, service was great friendly reminded of the times I grew up in where people cared about the customers and the food. Waited 40 minutes for scrambled eggs and home fries. No coffee service from our server in the meantime, no checkin on the wait. Yet once the food did come, the check arrived 4 minutes later. So not everything was slow.

From the food it was clear either their fry oil, griddle, or both were in desperate need of a clean. Tasted rancid....
