I came here today and was actually surprised at the experience I had. I am usually not one to complain or return food at any establishment, I just take the loss and keep it pushing. Considering Farmer Boys is pretty pricey, I had to return my food. I came around 2pm and ordered a BLT, 4 piece chicken finger, and fries. I was in a rush because I had an appointment to get to. I get to my appointment across town and begin to eat my food. The fries weren't fully cooked, literally still crunchy as if it was a raw potato. My blt was soggy and the toast was burnt to a crisp. The fingers seemed like they were in the freezer for ages and fried way too long. I ate a few fries and a few bites of the BLT and threw away what I had but kept the rest in the bag. When I came back to that side of town around 5:30pm I went to return my food. I went back thru the drive thru and explained what was wrong very politely. The manager says rudely, "do you have the food? If not no refund." I said I did have the food and went to the window. Again explained what the issue was with the food nicely and the manager, Jesus, was very rude and just kept peeking through the bag. The girl with the red short hair was very nice and she honestly should be the manager, because she handled it nicely. I then get my new order because obviously I didn't want the same thing to be disappointed again. I tell the manager I'd like the difference because my new order was cheaper. He says AND I QUOTE, "no I won't give the refund because you ate half the food and coming back hours later and it's sketchy to me." Sketchy? Are you kidding me? Because I didn't come back right away I was on the other side of town. I was very disappointed with how he handled it and I will never be coming back to this establishment. I feel bad for the workers in there that have to deal with such a rude manager. Jesus, you need to take a work ethic course and...
Read moreIt took the employees about 15 minutes to register that we were ready to order, and about 40 minutes for our food to get to us. It felt like the restaurant was run by a lot of teenagers who just did not want to be there. There was hardly anyone at the register. Of course, it could have been a bad day or a slow day, because as soon as we were done with our food, a large group of customers came in and the employees were immediately on top of their order, and they received their food much faster.
We witnessed a few would-be customers walk in and wait, just as we did, and then give up and walk away after being ignored. There was a lady who spent 15 minutes on the phone up at the front, which could have been handled outside or in the back on another phone.
The signs around the store were somewhat misleading about the food. We did only go there for breakfast, though, and am curious to know how their lunch/dinner items are like. I ordered their chili-cheese omelet, and my wife ordered a three-egg breakfast of sorts. My omelet was rather deflated with what seemed to be chili-con-carney and two slices of American cheese on top. My wife describes the food as "Edible, but not much more than that." The toast was burned on one side and not on the other, in addition to the fact that they only buttered one side of the toast before putting the other half on, expecting it the butter to melt into the butterless side.
For the cost of breakfast at this place, the product and the service were not worth the money. As I had mentioned previously, I am curious to know what the burgers are like, however the service we received for breakfast menu items was atrocious. Again, it could have been a bad day, a slow day, and a bad time, because as soon as we were done with our food another group entered the restaurant and received extremely...
Read moreUsually, when I go in Farmer boys, I always have goodbyes, but I enter today the manager, Rebecca, who took my order was Very snappy. When I entered, I stopped at the registered looked at the menu. She asked me if I was ready. I told her yes She asked me to come to the drive-through register . The other registers were not working. I found that, To be odd. So I gave her my order. I asked her if my fries can be seasoned. She responded that they do season fries. I told her my past The fries didn’t taste like nothing so she responded snappy like I’ll tell the cook to add more salt. Then I asked her can I add bacon to my burger? She replied yeah you’ll know you have to pay for it. I told her yes I know I have to pay for it because it’s an add-on. So as we’re completing my order, she’s grabbing my cup. She’s snatching out the receipt very aggressively just very upset. I told her you have a very bad attitude She began to get argumentative immediately asked for her manager. Guess what she was the manager. So I told her she was a terrible manager, carried and handled the situation. And politely walked away. She talk about me to her coworkers i never gave her a response. Another cashier came up to the registers i asked did they work These she told me They were not working. I asked the cashier does those registers work explained to me they do. She didn’t know why the manager had me go to the other register and tell me that they did not work. When I pull my burger out, it was smashed. Rebecca smashed my damn burger. I did not eat it. I threw it in the trash because I don’t trust people playing with my food. I have never received a burger from Farmer boys that looks like this a...
