Service: Horrible! STAY AWAY!
When I first walked in I ordered a beet. The bar tender seemed to struggle pouring a tall Goose from the tap. After about 6 minutes she finally found got it.
I then went to order food so I was told to go ring the bell. A woman from the kitchen shouts "I'll be right out." After standing there for 10 minutes waiting I sat down. After another 5-10 min I got back up to ring the bell, as I did this sweaty women who looked exhausted and over worked came out carrying some food. The bar wasn't anywhere near full so im not sure why she seemed so exhausted. She served a table she comes up to me asking what she can get me. As she's looking at me wiping the sweat from her face i became hesitant because that was just not sanitary. I then stumbled to ask for a burger and fries. She said they were all out of frozen patties. I then asked for a menu (not sure why I wasn't haven't one to begin with?) She then, looks irritated and hands me a grimy menu. As I'm looking through it she starts getting impatient and starts naming items off of the menu and was speaking too fast for me to even understand her. I finally settled on a Philly cheese steak. She brought it out and it was okay but mostly greasy and more mushrooms than meat. It wasn't very good really. I alsokept praying that she washes her hands after wiping her sweaty face...nasty.
The atmosphere was your typical bar with one exception, extra smokey. I still can hardly breath, coughing, and just all around horrible.
Never again...
Read moreThis used to be my stop for Karaoke Friday nights with DJ 'Tasha and Saturday nights with Kev Love. Okay, so I has a small crush on the male bartender Patrick... But thats the whole point, right? They make you feel loved. And he never let our drinks get empty, or at least check up on us at least 3 or 4 times an hour, busy or not. He always knew my 1 shot limit (and knew I cant drink a whole shot, dont try doubling it on me). Ive been busy moving so after two months, I went in. Not only is Patrick AND Kev Love gone, but being a female, the waitreesses didnt try impressing me like Patrick. (Fact - Males will tip them more just because theres "a possibility". Their attitude was more "why waste their time checking on me they cant flirt to get more tips". So I waited a while before even being acknowledged. Even longer to get my shot of Fireball and Coke no ice which came back with Ice. 2 hrs later and 2 empty glasses, I still hadnt been checked on. AND IM AT THE BAR. I always tip exceptionally well if treated well. Male OR female. Plus, Karaokee has become whos a favorite, and one guy just stayed up there and kept singing 4 times...
Read moreWe stopped in to a local spot hoping to find a good Happy Hour and met one of their bartenders named Crystal Rosario. She has been working at Fred’s Tavern for several years and her friendly demeanor and knowledge of cocktails was impressive. I enjoyed our conversation about vodka and it’s different variations of raw materials. She recommended a cocktail called a Japanese Pear Blossom that was absolute perfection. I highly recommend coming to Fred’s for a drink, a game of pool or just some friendly,...
