The Low Country Shrimp Boil - This was outstanding. Start with 2 lbs of shrimp with sausage, potatoes, and corn. then order some extra crab legs to go on top. We ordered three for 7 adults and could not eat it all. They are tasty, filling, and fun. If you hate peeling shrimp - they have been deveined and in the process the shells are split making the shrimp easy to peel. You eat shrimp rather than spending time peeling. A great feed and reasonable price.

Service was excellent. Food was average in price and quality. Getting into the restaurant was a challenge ((17 steep stair steps)).

Me and my family of 5 went in for dine in on 6/26/20 . We were seated . Waited at least 10 minutes before server arrived to take our drink order . When we were ready to order ... we ordered a family meal for 4 plus other 2 plates - water information us that we are not able to order the family meal from a dinner menu due to they only doing it to go as it backs up the kitchen . Nowhere on the menu it said that . Not only it did not say that .... the waiter continued to tell me that they printed the menus before they changed that family meal to to go only . I was shocked with how unprofessional it was handled . Let me get it right ... I can not order a dinner menu on your dine in menu at 6 pm on. Friday night because someone decided that it will back up the kitchen and you decided to only to make it do go ??? Then take it off your menu or at least edit it saying for to go order only . I went to a manager ( who by the way did not wear a mask when it is mandatory for workers ). She replied with the same answer . I said well I do not fell like it is ok at all and we will be going somewhere else . The waiter respond was “that works for me “. I have never experienced such if rudeness in the restaurant. I told the manager it is your loss . They just lost over $100 table who tips really well . Now we are enjoy great service and food at a different restaurant! Never going...

I have been coming here sine I was a little girl. The owner's name is Joe, not Bill funny enough! And let me tell you, Joe knows his seafood with the freshest selection around! He will let you know which is the freshest and best of the bunch. There are live wells full of crabs most of the year which means delicious soft shell crabs in the spring (or blue crabs to crack when you want to)! The store attached has one of the most extensive collections of hot sauce I have ever seen with names that are just too embarrassing to type here! The restaurant upstairs is amazing as well serving all of the freshest seafood that Joe sells downstairs. Joe's wife makes amazing key lime pie and she crab, clam chowder and shrimp bisque soups. If you are in the area and need some seafood, this place is not...

I was a bit panicky when Joe retired. In his 80's and a family friend for 40 years, he resisted the town's bid to buy and found the right person to carry on that legacy of a local seafood shop for his neighbors. The new owner, Cassy and Cat are the absolute best. You want big, farm grown, tasteless oysters, go elsewhere. They have local clusters, the taste of which is unbeatable but require work. Hey, they will sell you a really good oyster knife. The local fish and shrimp are way beyond anything you ever bought at a restaurant or grocery store. It is a part of the Sunset Beach...
