This is one of the GREATEST parks I've EVER been to!!!

I absolutely love that there are outdoor swings available. They are pretty comfortable AND the swings also have cup holders! Which makes it a significant upgrade because you don't have to set your drink on the ground and get bugs or dirt in it. They're also big enough to comfortably fit 3 grown adults!

The only critique I have is, I wish they had more swings. They only have 2 and because of how awesome they are, they (obviously) fill up rather quickly.

Also the women's bathroom (I'm not sure about the men's bathroom because I'm female and obviously didn't go into the men's bathroom) were taken care of. As far as public bathrooms go, it was by far one of the best bathrooms I've used/seen.

My husband, son & father-in-law went down to the water front and fished. While my mother-in-law & I sat on the swing.

This is overall a great place! I definitely recommend this place to just sit and relax AND/OR a...

Absolutely gorgeous park kept beautiful by the City of Sunset Beach, NC. It doesn’t matter what time of year you come, there is God’s beauty in every moment of every day. Bring your leashed, well behaved dog for a nice walk around the park. Bring a basket with lunch or dinner in it for a scenic setting. Bring school children to show them what it means to serve our country with the Memorial so beautifully designed. Bring your loved ones for a nice walk, swing and fish. One of my favorite places in the entire USA. The Veterans Memorial is breathtaking with the water in the background, and both my Grandfather and Father are forever Memorialized there, as they each have a brick, respectively. The Market in Thursday mornings is a must do when I am visiting my parents (they reside in Ocean Isle, NC, and I in Harrisburg (area) Pennsylvania).
