Bagels & Beyond — Restaurant in Surf City

DISGUSTING!

We bought some bagels and brought them home for our family. Upon taking the jalapeño bagel out of the bag, we saw a ROACH BAKED into the bagel (see photos). This was so gross.

When I called Bagels & Beyond the woman asked if I could bring it back. We did. She gave us a refund and said the owner wanted us to call. I called the number she provided and it went to the Manahawkin manager. This manager said, ALL of the bagels are made in the same facility. He said flippantly "Sorry, but sometimes this happens. "

This was very disappointing and disgusting. We will never patronize this...

I have been coming here for almost 15 years. I’ve had over 100 bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It used to be two eggs, now it’s a quarter of a egg. Trying to pull a fast one, Not cool. Cheese isn’t melted, barely any bacon.

The toaster they use Is like an accidental toasting. I need purpose. Toast it.

The Bagels and Beyond off the island is way better. I won’t be coming here until they get their BEC cheese act together. Darn...

I just ordered and picked up 2 - egg sandwhiches on rolls from here. It cost me $ 11.30 for both ! I wouldn't mind if both were loaded with nice fluffy eggs but each sandwhich comes with 1 egg! I could barely see it... terrible. Eggs cost what, about .25 cents each ? Why wouldn't they put 2 nice eggs into a sandwhich they charge $5.00 for ? I don't get it ... whats going on out there ?? Take a guess which place I won't be returning...
