I have never indulged in kosher pizza before. This must be the best kosher pizza. Like its non-kosher counterpart, it is a culinary delight that embodies the essence of New York-style pizza. It's important to note that kosher pizza adheres to Jewish dietary laws, ensuring that all ingredients and preparation processes are in accordance with these rules.
In terms of the pizza's crust, it closely mirrors the traditional New York style, in fact it replicates it so closely you won't know the difference. The dough is hand-tossed to perfection, resulting in a thin and slightly crispy crust that's soft on the inside. The secret to its deliciousness lies in the water used in the dough, which in New York City is renowned for its unique mineral composition, contributing to the crust's exceptional texture and flavor. Kosher pizza makers often go to great lengths to replicate this aspect, which is central to the New York pizza experience. They got it right!
For the sauce, kosher pizza typically uses high-quality, crushed tomatoes, combined with a blend of herbs and spices. This sauce is generously spread across the crust, imparting a rich, tangy flavor that pairs harmoniously with the toppings. Again, a perfect ensemble!
Toppings on kosher pizza are versatile with the ingredients adhering to dietary laws. Go with the "special". It mirrors a simple cheese pizza but has a unique meat consistency that is unbelievable.
The cheese, a key element of any pizza, is carefully selected to be kosher, offering the same gooey, stretchy consistency that New Yorkers crave.
Overall, this kosher pizza captures the essence of New York-style pizza, with its crispy yet tender crust, tangy sauce, and mouthwatering toppings. It's a testament to the adaptability of culinary traditions, ensuring that people with dietary restrictions can savor the iconic taste of NYC in every bite.
Fiallkoff'a is renowned for serving the absolute best kosher pizza, and its resemblance to the iconic New York-style pizza is nothing short of remarkable.
Giving a 5* on a first visit is nothing short of remarkable. The memories that rushed through my head with every bite, were of my childhood in NY. What an outstanding...
Read moreMy wife and I walked in looking for a good slice of pizza. A lady behind the counter eating food and a cook behind her with 2 customers eating their Pizza. We walked up to look at the slices that were pre done. No one welcomed us in, no hi how are you, how may I help you, nothing, totally ignored. Stood there at least 5 minutes right across the counter from the lady behind the counter, nothing! No customer service whatsoever. The cook, just walked to the back. After standing there for a few minutes, we just left. What a shame, they don’t care about customer service I guess. That’s too bad when you’re in business...
Read moreIt smelled good when we came in but was highly disappointed in the pizza. I ordered a slice of the standard just cheese and sauce and my very hungry 11 year old wouldn't eat it, so I gave her my white pizza and tried hers and yeah I understand why, it tasted awful. The sauce had a bad flavor and nothing tasted hot, it just seemed like they took the slice that was sitting out on display and put it in a box, skipped the oven. Garlic knots were just okay, too much flavor (not in a good way) and trust me they will linger for a long time! Unfortunately we tossed our food, and I never waste food,...
