The food is fantastic. Fresh breads, fresh foods, lattes, etc. Order at the counter. Pick yourself up 2 smalls in place of 1 medium. I like to mix sandwich types (hot) meatball, sausage and pepper, chicken parm, (cold) subs Italian... They don't go crazy with the sauce. It's a good thing, so you don't wear it. There is plenty of seating inside and out. Before you leave grab some chocolate filled things (look like croissants but not) to take home.

My wife and I just had an outstanding dinner at Alvaros. Everything from the burrata to the osso bucco to the giant filled meatballs the tiramisu and assortment of Italian cookies was the best we've had. The quality and value could not be beat. This one was one of their monthly dinners, and we'll definitely be back soon.

Big enough portions for the pastas and reasonable prices. We went to Gabriella's years ago but portions seemed small. This restaurant gives bigger portions for $12 an entree. This location is closer to our home than the midtown option. Parking and place was packed at noon. Outdoor area was nice with peeks of the river.

FINALLY got to go here and it did NOT disappoint! The guys behind the counter are extremely nice and knowledgeable. The food, oh my goodness the food! My husband got the Italian sub and I got the meatball. EVERYTHING was amazing, the bread is obviously made on sight along with all of the delicious looking bakery sweets. We got our order to go and by the time we got home the wonderful smell coming from our to-go bags had our mouths watering. Normally, I take the time to take several pictures to post with my reviews however, the food was so darn good I couldn't take the time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you find out for yourselves how amazing the food, service and bakery fresh goodies are for yourselves, you...

I’ve only ever been to the Front St location but ever since we’ve discovered this gem, I’ve been back almost weekly. The pasta (I’ve tried many types there) and chicken parm is some of the best I’ve ever had in any Italian restaurant. It’s also so reasonably priced that I was shocked at the portion on the plate. The staff is always no nonsense but in the best way and always very friendly. It’s hit or miss on some of the bakery items for me (due to personal taste, not bc of quality) but the breads are incredible and I cannot recommend the tiramisu or Neapolitan...
