Simply Turkey & More — Restaurant in Susquehanna Township

Visited this establishment for lunch midweek. I was introduced to Simply Turkey & More at a business lunch one week ago and the food items were picked up by a co-worker. Our meals were tasty so I decided to venture out to visit onsite. I can tell it is popping during lunch hours. I timed it for after the lunch rush. The staff were smiling and friendly and extremely polite! I have tried the Turkey, brie and cranberry sandwich as well as the Lobster and Shrimp cream soup special. At my 2nd visit I had the Lunch Turkey platter. The soup special needs more Lobster chunks added but was obviously good hence I opted to try them a second time on my own. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. My only suggestions are the bread rolls should be warmed for hot soup or platters. And I would have given them 5 stars if the trash receptacle at the front door did not welcome you with a plastic tub on top for dirty dishes. It's the first place flying bugs will hover around and you don't really want your patrons to walk in to knats and flies hitting them in the face. Murphy's law😉. After starting my new job a year and a half ago Simply Turkey Has been my main go to for lunch. Typically, I get a small salad, but it’s actually huge to the point where I cannot finish it! The food is always fresh and tasty, the sandwiches and soups are great as well. When it comes to service they Phenomenal! Their recommendations have always been great, especially when trying out new soups. I know they do cater for holidays, but even the busy times the staff always has a smile in their face. I’ve only been to the front Street location where there is ample parking, but the parking lot is kind of full of potholes so you need to be careful. There’s lots of outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the river. Inside there’s a lot of seating and it’s pretty clean, however a little bit dated and dark.

First off, the turkey noodle soup has absolutely NO taste. Boy was I disappointed! Years ago, when they were located in Strawberry Square, the soup was DELICIOUS!! Please bring back that recipe!!! Secondly, not sure where the "friendly" staff is that's mentioned in another review. The first time I visited this location, the employee that was making my order exhibited disgust and exacerbation everytime I asked a question. I chalked it up as an isolated incident but nope, I tried on another day and this time the female that waited on me was sooooo rude and short with me. Okaaay...so that's it!!
