Dined at the Boro Bar and Grill while visiting the area on recommendation of a friend.

I had the meatloaf dinner which was good.

The place was busy on a Thursday evening and the casual atmosphere had loud conversations among the other patrons so it was a bit hard to carry on a conversation due to the loud chatter around us.

Unfortunately, the service from our waitress was unacceptable beginning after we had gotten served our dinners.

She did not check back to see how our meals were and if we needed anything such as drink refills.( which we wanted)...

We also had to wave down another server to let someone know that we were waiting for our check as our waitress never came back after she brought our meals...We sat waiting for 15 minutes after finishing our meals until she finally came with the bill after the other server tracked her down.

So there was absolutely no contact with our server from the time she brought our food to the table until she brought the check after having to be chased down by another server.

Last night I showed up for my reservation (that I made a week ago) at 7pm with all 20 people in my party. I had celebrated my birthday here a few years ago with no issues, but obviously with some changes in management this place has gone downhill. The bartender told me she attempted to call me multiple times to let me know that they had to cancel my reservation due to a football game, but that my phone rang busy every time. I have zero missed calls, zero voicemails, and cell phones don’t just “ring busy.” An apology was not offered nor any attempt to accommodate my party. I asked to speak to the manager when the bartender very rudely said, “I am the manager.” We were left with 20 very hungry people (some who traveled an hour for this dinner) attempting to find somewhere that could fit all of us at the last minute to celebrate my birthday. Obviously, we were upset, and we were told we had to leave immediately since there was no room for us there. I have never ever been treated so poorly, and I have worked in customer service...

We brought family on Saturday from out of town. Myself and my wife talked this restaurant up on how awesome it was, well the was a mistake. After waiting approximately 1 hour and 30 min the waitress asked if we wanted to see a manager ( the waitress was awesome) the manager came out like a roaring bull she made up excuses after excuses why it was taking so long to get our food mana oh man did she have an piss poor attitude. The food came out cold the fry’s were covers in hot sauce and the drinks were empty. Come to find out I waitress was no longer there. I asked another waitress where our fry’s were and she threatened to kick us out she was extremely rude in front of everyone I was so embarrassed along with my wife and family members. I don’t know the managers name she was a female but I really don’t think she should be working in this type of atmosphere. I really don’t think we will ever recommend or eat at the cove from this point on sad because we started eating here weekly. Very very...
