We stayed at the days inn 8-9-25. We decided to try the in house resteraunt. Big mistake. My mom wanted a Ruben which they didn't have ( which would become a theme). So instead she got fish and chips that was suppose to come with slaw...surprise it didn't. My daughter got pizza and I the prime rib special med-well. Mom got a beer, I got a mango Margherita and kid got a sprite. Food eventually shows up. No slaw and no roll for the prime rib which was rare so sent back to cook more. They were out of slaw and rolls We were told at this point. We also had not gotten any drinks yet. Mom and kid start eating their drinks finally come out but not mine. Finally get my food but still no drink that he repeatedly told me through out our time that he'd be right back with it. My daughter ended up eating half my prime rib because the pizza was cardboard with cheese. My drink showed up after we were all done eating so I asked for a Togo cup. Later my mom goes down to get us a couple more margaritas but was told they were out. So she went through all their specialty drinks to which was replied were out of everything but one. So she got it and we ended up dumping them because it tasted aweful. I'm pretty easy going but honestly it felt like this was both servers first day ever working at a resteraunt and the food was either super bland or very very over seasoned...well you know if they actually had it in stock lol. It wasn't cheap either so save your money and time and go...

Dinner is more pub-style food, but all was good with large servings and a good variety. The staff - this is my primary take-away - the staff were truly pros. They were always checking but not excessively though; you could tell they and the manager were very attentive even when busy! I really appreciated their time and service each day we were at the hotel. It was very convenient to have a great restaurant with great service there and not really have to leave to go...
Read moreOn our way to the KOA. Found this restaurant inside the Days Inn, where you have to go to register for the KOA. We were pleasantly surprised. Hubby got the classic burger with fries. He said it was the beat burger he's ever had. I had the Reuben with onion rings. One of the best I've had as well. The portions were quite large. We both have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Overall, we are very glad we decided to eat here instead of any fast food places. Prices were excellent especially considering the large portions....
