I don't have enough words to describe how pleasant and homie sensation my experience was this morning at the Lincoln's landing diner. I was hesitant at first that given a smaller-ish space with lots of traffic going in and out that I won't be able to experience a diner experience but i did! A great breakfast, classic eggs, homefries , refilling coffee , with lots of jam and other condiments available for your choosing. Have you ever tried orange jam on scrambled eggs and cheese before?? You should! I know it is weird but give it a try! I had the space to do my writings ✍️ and readings, and surprisingly lots of space was available throughout the 1.5 hours of my stay, maybe even 2 hours even. The service was great always ensuring my coffee was filled, and exchanging smiles and greetings to everyone. I do agree that the style of the place doesn't resemble the classic diner experience and vibes, and though a different review said that they play music, old classic music didn't turn out true that didn't minimize my experience and my morning.
Parking is somewhat limited but I had no issue parking my van. Great view and location by the water for those wanting to finish their morning walk or start your day before work by the water and food.
There is a bathroom in this establishment, and pretty interesting for that you walk through the kitchen. If this doesn't give a sense of community and home , I don't know what does???
Bottom line, good place to finish your morning routine before the rest of your day....
Read moreI've been coming here for 10 plus years. I don't know what happened in the past couple months, but this is the second time i've gone there and received absolutely abysmal service. Place is going downhil. Completely skipped me in line, sat two separate parties, one of which was the same size as mine, who definitely came in after me. And when I bring it up to the server, they tell me "I wasn't on a list", even though I was standing at the front waiting for anybody to even acknowledge that i'm waiting. I called to complain just to keep it off the internet and they basically just fought me on the phone saying I was wrong for not going to them personally and telling them to put me on the waiting list, at the back of the restaurant, so I could get a table. That is an absolutely ridiculous thing to say to somebody, especially at an establishment, either put me on a list at the front or make the list yourself when I walk in.But asking me to put myself on a waiting list to get a table...
Read moreThe staff was so so nice and accommodating. Erin, a younger girl and another lady. Treated us with the right amount of familiarity... not overly freindly where it feels forced but a very pleasant welcoming and belonging. We came on a cloudy day with rain likely.. we wanted to sit outside but needed to move in cause it did start to rain a bit. Inside it was real loud (screaming children...) and real tight seating and I was visibly very uncomfortable... (just a personal thing.... i dont like cramped, crowded spaces..) Erin did everything she could as a server to make me comfortable! Refilled my tea, gave us our food to go, and made it clear that we could wait outside if we were comfortable. If you're like me choose outside seating!! Lovely time outside and experience thanks...
