Cholula's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Swansea

I called and talked to multiple people including manager about tring to get just one margarita to take to my grandmother. For her 50th wedding anniversary with my grandfather that had recently passed. I told them i knew it wasn't commom for them to do but also know its not against law or in any liquor licence guide lines. They told me all week that it was fine. I was ecstatic, for me was like bring a piece of my grandpa back to her again. Because for the first time in over 50 years she shared this day with herself. This restaurant was their date spot. So the day comes that my family was going to share the day with grandma. I walked in they looked at me like i was stupid. They spoke around me like i wasnt there. They "called" the manager and said he didnt answer. And told me they were not going to fulfill the order. A lady that was sitting out in dinning area cane over and told me to leave. Basically i called everyday for a week before coming in to get anything. I explained why and knew the rules regarding the request. Just a few hours before coming in was assured everything was set. Ended up walking out extremely upset and my family hasnt been back sense. A place that was my grandparents date spot turned into the place my grandma cant bare to...

Awesome food and good prices!!

I've seen this place pop up on my recommendations. Decided to try it today for lunch. We had seen that they do a lunch buffet, but due to COVID, they don't currently have one. However, they had a bunch of things on the menu.

Their chips and salsa was very good. The salsa was not spicy at all, but full of flavor, and the chips were homemade and came out warm.

I had the enchiladas Ranchero, which the waitress recommended. They were so good....I would, without a doubt, get them again.

My fiancée had the fajita mix, which he said was very good too.

This is definitely a place we will be adding to our list of places to eat at again. The building doesn't look like much, but its one of those places that don't look like anything special, and then shock the hell out of tou with how good it is. I would highly recommend.

1st time here, I must admit, my standards are picky, coming from a town that has a 60% Hispanic population, I've had some authentic Mexican food. I was very surprised here, atmosphere is good, not overpowering or "Americanised", prices are very reasonable, and the menu has a good selection! What I don't understand is why everyone in this area uses flower tortillas for taco's instead of corn? And if you do ask for corn, you pay more and it's a "street" taco? Anyway, I ordered the Chori Pollo , big plate of food! Flavor is spot on! Could have used a bit less of the cheese sauce, but it is excellent! Service is great and the man who was possibly the manager, seems genuinely concerned about your experience! I'll definitely be back to try other items...
