Hardee's — Restaurant in Swansea

9/5/21. Showed up at the drive-thru at 6:23 a.m. for breakfast. The Hardee's opens at 6:00 a.m. on Sundays. Two poorly written signs one on the drive-thru sign one on the speaker that say "closed management." Someone comes over the speaker and says we're closed until 7:00 a.m. . So annoying. Typical for Hardee's of Swansea.

7/9. Sucks this is the only game in town. And maybe there are more positive experiences that just don't get written about but here I am again. I came here with coupons expecting to get four combos and I'm told they're out of hot dogs. What Burger joint runs out of hot dogs? So my meal ended up costing me three times as much because I can't use the coupons. #Annoyingaf

12/22. Yet again another fail. I ordered a big roast beef sandwich and got the piddliest amount of meat I've ever seen on a roast beef. I used to work at Hardee's and this was far from up to standard and not at all worth $4.79. I'll be speaking with Brenda the manager tomorrow.

This damn place will straight up piss you off. Went in today for the SECOND time because it's about the only game in town and my parents wanted food. Ordered the special sandwich my grandmother always gets and was asked to pull forward in the drive thru while the sandwich was being made. I wait for TOO LONG as two or three cars behind me get there order and finally get mine and drive away and realize they have given me fries instead of onion rings. This happens ALL THE TIME at the Hardee's and God forbid if you ask them to correct it later because you get nothing but attitude. So I went back. Apparently they knew they'd made the mistake and handedd me the onion rings as I drive up to the window. Then I got home and opened the sandwich box to find freaking chicken tenders. So why did you make me pull forward and wait while you made my special sandwich if you weren't making my special sandwich? And if the special sandwich was still there with the onion rings when I came back why didn't you give me that also? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? My grandmother can't eat fried chicken that's why i ordered her a chargrilled chicken sandwich. But when I tried repeatedly to call, the phone was busy and busy and busy and busy. Another epic...

I have gotten food from Hardees in Swansea SC probably 10 to 20 times a year since it opened 8 years ago or so; for a family of 5. That's 7 to $8,000.00 I've spent there during that time frame and I've had more and more issues with my orders over the last couple years. I almost always have to pull my vehicle forward to wait for my order to be prepared and that's OK, if it means I'm getting "fresh" food. This last visit was no different. I pulled forward and waited for them to bring my order out. As I've gotten home in the past missing items, I opened the bag and counted my burgers and fries. All there... or so I thought. This last order included 3 Monster burgers, 2 of which, after getting home, I found to have only one burger patty. There are supposed to be 2 burger patties on a Monster. This is getting real old. IF... IF... If I go back there to eat again, and am asked to pull forward I will decline the order and request my card be credited for the order. If they refuse, I will sit there until I contact my card company and decline the transaction. If they bring my food to me without asking me to pull forward, I will take my time and remove everything from the bag and open all of the sandwiches to verify they are correct before moving forward. If the order is incorrect I will give it back to them and ask for my card to be credited and will follow the same steps I noted above if they were to ask me to pull forward. This will only happen once as I would no longer trust this location with my food or credit card. Not sure what kind of managing team they have there but something...

Unless you're just looking to fight a lazy drivethrough worker or stare at traffic on 321 for an hour and a half while waiting on overpriced chicken tenders, I'd suggest going literally anywhere else. Every Hardee's in the state is awful but this one makes the rest almost look passable. The last time I went, they asked us to pull into a parking spot to clear the drivethrough and said they'd bring the food out to us. The food in question was literally one five piece chicken tender meal and a medium sweet tea. After an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, I got fed up and had to block the drive through on foot until they gave me what I paid for. Then I threw it out for the crows, because I'm not an idiot. I know those folks well enough to say with confidence that they spit in it or something worse. But there was no possibility of me leaving that place without my money or my food not after all that nonsense. And that's pretty much a typical experience at the Swansea Hardee's. You can expect much the same any time you go there. I'm fully convinced that every decent review on here was bought or posted by the owner I've literally never heard a single person say anything that wasn't unilaterally awful about this location and I've lived here...
