China Garden — Restaurant in Swanton

My husband and I are always on the lookout for good Chinese food. This place did not disappoint! We ordered hot and sour soup, egg rolls, spicy Szechuan beef, and garlic gai kow. The soup was fabulous and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Now, for the egg rolls. I’ve been looking for an egg roll I used to get as a child. This wasn’t it, but it was still an amazing, crunchy, little bite of deliciousness, especially with their house made sauces! Needless to say, we’ll be back to try more...

This is a decent-sized restaurant (can seat a large party easily) with a WIDE variety of menu options. We tried the almond boneless chicken, Mai fun, and ginger garlic beef, and steamed dumplings--and all were FANTASTIC!

Our server was wonderful: funny, kind, and personable. Our food was out quickly, hot, and delicious.

We will make special trips...

We stopped here after picking apples at Johnston’s, which is only 2-3 minutes away. The dining area is large and spacious, everything was neat and clean. The lunch combos are a great deal.
