This has been one of my favorite places to eat for a little while now. The service is amazing and helpful. We are new to Nepalese food and the friendly young man, who I've seen working the front every time I come in, is more than willing to let you know what the dish is, how hot it's going to be, and how to even eat the dish "because sometimes the dish has a order of things to put together" like Pani puri. POP it open, add filling, dip in flavored water, and put the entire thing in your mouth to avoid making a mess of yourself. And as for the flavor, amazing flavor. I haven't had a dish yet that I was disappointed with. I've seen people complain about time taken to receive food, and I dissagree. You have to remember, this isn't McDonald's. Someone in the kitchen is taking their time to prepare you a dish that is cooked properly and coming out done to perfection. Would you rather they rush out a dish to you and it not taste great because they had to compromise technique for time. Keep up the amazing work Everest Spice, we will be...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting the restaurant. While my boyfriend and my sister got their food and finished eating, I was still there waiting for my dumplings to arrive. When I went to ask the waitress, she told me the dumplings were never put in for order. So I told her, I would like to do a take out order. I payed with cash. But, she didn’t give me back the exact change. It was only few cents but it was not ok that she didn’t gave it back to me. I expect exact change to be return. Just because it’s a Nepali restaurant and Nepali customers might not care about the cents, that doesn’t mean they should ignore it and not give it. That’s not how business works in America in general. ( This also happen again when I had visited the Nepali store few blocks down after eating at the restaurant.) The food was decent and the dumplings were bit salty. I don’t think I would want to go back to Everest Spice. I would not recommend this restaurant for their bad...
Read moreTerrible customer service. Went in person to order takeout after numerous attempts to call. Ordered pork chow mein and chili momo. Was told my order would take 20 minutes. 20 minutes passed by, 30 min, 40, 50, 60… waited over an hour to get two of the simplest menu items. Also when I to pay I was overcharged, when I asked she said prices have gone up, I get it! But if that’s the case why not update that in their online menu. Finally got my food, the noodles were so dry, flavorless, and COLD. The chili momos were swimming in a pool of oil I’ve had momos before, that’s not what they’re suppose to taste or look like. The lack of communication is unreal, first and last time going there. Worst customer service experience. Beware don’t be fooled by the time they give you. Save your money/ save your time...
