I have been there a few times and I would not recommend it to my friends, I was there with co-workers and the bartender was not at all the person for the job, she looked like crap and didn't pay attention to are drinks it seemed like she had a few guys that she was more interested in and every time we needed a drink we had to get her attention. The next day we went in for lunch and it was ok, the bartender was nice and the owner waited on us, and the more i talked to her the more i thought the bartender from the day before could be her daughter so we didn't mention anything about the issues we had the night before. The following night we went in and the same bartender was working, the dinning room was filled and the bar wasn't, so we sat at the bar, now we had to get her attention to get a drink, she was on her phone and had an attitude, when she walked up to us,she asked us if we wanted something to drink, i felt like asking her wtf you think we are here for ? She never asked us if we wanted a menu, so we didn't eat there, I never got the bartenders name and don't care to know it, the only way to describe her, she's short, dirtyblond hair tied back, she smokes, has a kid, shares a place with her sister and from what we gathered, she is NOT the owners daughter and we are not the only people she treat like crap, that explains why the bar wasn't filled. For someone that works for tips you would think they would take care of there customers not only for there tip but also for the customer to return.I must say food...

My wife and I stopped in on a whim, a Friday evening at 5 pm. The early diners were just clearing out and we were seated immediately in a booth in the large dining room just off of the bar area. It was clean, comfy, bright and cheery.

We had eaten here about three years ago and found it ok, but nothing special. I understand it's under new ownership now and we enjoyed an excellent dinner on this evening.

The menu is expanded to include many dinner options well beyond bar food. We keep mostly vegetarian and found only a few options, but as we occasionally add fish to our diet, we found much more from which to choose. She ordered baked haddock and I ordered fish and chips. She also ordered a cocktail and I got a draft beer.

Service was not exactly rapid, but it was not unacceptably slow either. We were in the middle of the Friday night dinner hour, so we make allowances for the bar and kitchen being suddenly flooded with orders. Our server, although not exactly bright and cheery, was efficient. Our food arrived hot, correct and looking very good. My wife was particularly pleased with her order. It looked amazing. My fish and chips were quite good, perhaps not the best in the area, but prepared very well. The french fries were thick cut, cooked perfectly the way I like them.

The owner stopped by to chat as we were finishing our meal. He was very welcoming and engaging, and It added a really nice touch to our dining experience. We'll certainly make The Wharf one of our regular...

I ate here last night for dinner. It was nice sitting out on the deck, especially since we had an umbrella at the table to block some of the sun. We had gone right around 4:30pm. Not too busy and not too empty. Our food service was fast and our waitress was really nice and brought me my drink 'no ice' just as I asked. We both got the new menu item Pork Ribeez. The meat was so tender it fell right off the bone. The only reason I even used my knife was probably out of habit haha. I got the mild sauce which was ok. It actually tasted like they took the hot sauce and blended it with bbq sauce. I wasn't really impressed with that and wish I would have gone with the smokey sauce. But, you live and learn. The coleslaw was really good. Just like I like it. I'm a total slaw-snob. It was chunky and just a hint of sweetness and chilled. I hate when they bring semi-warm slaw. The fries were hot and crispy. My plate def did not sit under a heat lamp. My iced tea was good too. Clear and light. Not heavy and filling.

Overall, it was a good meal for my first time trying it. I would recommend going here for a fast and decent meal. Of course though with having the outside deck they also allow smoking but the area is pretty large and open so a few whiffs of smoke here and there I didn't think was enough to "smoke"...

Stopped by The Wharf today after a trip to Sam's Club. This is my first visit here. My server Joyce provided excellent customer service including recommending the Cheese Steak Boli. The Boli was light and airy with a good amount of steak and cheese. It was was served with a rustic style marinara that was delectable. I ordered the small boli, and it was large enough to serve at least 2. I brought more than half of it home. Their prices were more than reasonable, including a $3 Yuengling draft. The Wharf is set up as a sports bar with at least seven or eight large screen TVs on the wall. Despite the fact that all of the TVs were on and there was a small crowd in the place, it still wasn't loud. This is an excellent place for a quick lunch and a draft. They had a large selection of appetizer and meal options including brick oven pieces and efficient chips. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

I stopped in here on my way back from class to do some studying. I got here at lunch time and the place was decently busy but I was able to find a spot at the bar easily. Right off the bat the atmosphere was just what I was looking for. It was uplifting with a good music selection and atmosphere. I ordered their trainwreck fries which are to die for! They are made from like a potato wedge slice and were topped with cheese and bacon bits. While I was there I also got a side salad which was a good size and a beer. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be back

The food was decent. I enjoyed the fish sandwich with the boom boom sauce. Both the fries and chips were good sides. The French Onion was a good balance of broth, onions, bread and cheese. The spice on top of the soup was a bit strong. My friend enjoyed the Shrimp salad, but said it was a bit over dressed. Dressing on the side might be the way to go. The service was another story. Being short staffed wouldn't even cover the slowness that we experienced. It was easily 20 minutes between visits. Even after clearing out plates just to ask if we wanted the checks there was a long wait.
