Updating my review from about 1 & 1/2 years ago. First off their online menu shows their burgers prices at $5.99 however, if you call to place an order they are actually $9.99 and they have not updated it for well over a year now. We ordered 5 burgers tonight, spent $75.00 (including a nice tip) expecting the burgers to at least be the same well made 100% beef burgers like how they used to have. Nope!! These burgers were grissley mush like they were the frozen boxed 8pk of Bubba's burgers you get for $12 a box from Walmart, but even those are better than what we got tonight. They were absolutely horrible!! I hate to knock them down a few stars because of this but what we got was absolutely ridiculous! We love Italian Dreams pizza and wings and usually order from here quite a bit. I get that places have been going through hard times and inflation but if you're going to charge $10 for a burger, it had better be a real beef burger. I can get a gourmet burger from many other local restaurants for that kind of money. They served us a pre frozen patty (you could tell because they were all the same pressed shape) and charged gourmet prices. To top it off the fries were hotter than our burgers! They were basically cold and we had to microwave them. I'm not sure how that's even possible but you couldn't even see any kind of char on the burgers, it's like they were microwaved. Very disappointed and we may not order from here again because of this. This 5 star review was from over a year ago.We've ordered from here for years and have never had any issues. Our pizza's have always been delivered nice and hot and within the normal time they say it will. Customer service is great, they always reapeat the order back to you to make sure they have everything correct. We love the thin crust and the sauce! If you like chicken wings, you'll love theirs! They're nice and crispy and the breading is amazing! They have just the right amount of spice and are always nice and juicy, never overly fatty. We decided to get a little adventurous and tried the Taco pizza. It was amazing! We would have never thought that you could have a pizza like that, but Italian Dreams did it! I highly recommend...
Read moreI have lived in Sycamore for about 18 months. My heat failed on a very cold night and I mentioned to the service man that I would love some good soup to keep me warm. Cream of Chicken rice to be specific. ( I grew up in Oak Lawn and IYKYK) he immediately told me I had to get it from Italian Dreams. As a former South Sider himself, I trusted his judgment and and immediately placed an order. I was given great service and when I got there the owner gave me another order because " it's the end of the day and why should I throw it away" Now, was it as good as ya-ya's no, because its not the same soup. But it was amazing. flash forward, I have been under the weather and I decided soup would do the trick and it was Thursday so Cream of Chicken from ID was the perfect option. I decided to try something else. I got the Lasagna. Boy was that an unexpected treat! so much of it, meatballs, the soup and bread included for less than $15??? I didn't phone ahead and it was a rainy cold night. The owner told me to wait in my car and he carried it to me. He has been so friendly! and gone above and beyond. It's the simple gestures that make a difference. I don't know if this is a hidden gem or it just was to me because I am so new to the area. But it shouldn't be hidden. Read moreLiterally the WORST customer service I’ve ever received in my LIFE. I simply called to confirm a change on a door dash order since ID was out of stock on items. The manager decided to have a young employee take the call instead of handling it LIKE A MANAGER DOES- the manager finally decides to get on the phone, cuts me off repeatedly, I couldn’t even get a word out and he had zero idea what was happening because he wouldn’t allow me to speak. Hey Gabriel- all I wanted was to confirm and cancel/ or change the items to food that could be made so I could EAT. If you took the thirty seconds it takes to process the information before FLYING off the handle- you’d have a much better understanding and wouldn’t struggle to handle a very simple situation. All you had to do was allow me to change my order to food that was IN stock. I was kind and patient with you and your staff throughout the entire exchange EVEN while you shouted and spoke over me. The last thing I said to you still stands though- you’re clearly an unprofessional nightmare so I’m sure it isn’t the first time you’ve heard it.
