Panda Inn — Restaurant in Sylacauga

This is a pretty good place for Chinese and Vietnamese food, considering the area. I question the food's authenticity but it has great flavour and always made to order. The prices are also pretty reasonable, especially their lunch special. Main dining area is clean and spacious with full view of the kitchen. Bathrooms are fairly clean. The kitchen staff are very kind and attentive, but the front desk customer service is a little lacking. Overall would recommend for people in the Sylacauga area but if you're willing to drive a bit further then I would instead recommend looking for better and more authentic Asian cuisine...

I ordered Hunan beef. It was awful. It had a pungent smell, was rubbery and chewy and tasted like fish. Now, hours later, I'm going to bed feeling nauseous. Either the beef was spoiled or it wasn't beef. On top of that it was rather pricey for the quality and portions. That was my first and last visit there, unless I need to go back to order again and have a sample analyzed. I only gave it one star because less than one...

Edit: Unfortunately I did not enjoy my first trip here. One item was left off of my order, one of the dishes was pitifully plain and missing its signature sauce, and the rice was a little crunchy. Nice facility, friendly staff, 97 health score, but the food just didn't do it for me. Second visit was lovely. All the food was excellent, staff great, much much...
