Overall this place was "meh". I went there for lunch and as the other reviews say, the place is super clean and looks like a 1960's diner. The people who worked there were extremely nice and helpful. After waiting 10 minutes to get my burger and fries, which I found odd considering there were 2 people in the kitchen and I was the only customer, I was a little disappointed. The bacon cheeseburger I got was pretty good - they used real bacon but fake American cheese. The bacon was delicious and the patty was pretty decent (a little on the thin side) but what's up with the fake cheese? It had some sort of sauce that was good as well, maybe a little too much lathered on there...The burger wasn't really the issue though, it was the fries. My fries were very thin and crispy, which I can go for sometimes. But these were so thin and so crispy it tasted like I was eating deep fried lard - no potato was to be tasted. I couldn't even eat half of them they were so gross. Overall, the burger was pretty ok and if their fries were thicker and not super deep-fried, ti would have been a much better experience. My advice: use real cheese on the burgers and get some...

Don't waste your time or money. New to the area and trying local restaurants near my house, previously had a wonderful experience with the Mexican food side of the business but was beyond dissapointed in the service received tonight by the burger broiler. Ignored by burger broiler staff and waited over 20mins just to order, place was busy on both sides but not enough to ignore several customers forming a line to order. Was directed to order on the other side as they were keeping up with orders in a timely manner but not helping the burger staff with their mountain of orders being mismanaged. Continued to wait an additional 40 minutes while my meal set in the warming window decaying, and other customers that ordered behind me being served long before me. Almost asked to get a refund as I expected poor quality after such an expanse of time passed, but I tried to be patient. When I was finally served my order was ice cold. Food is decent, but due to the experience I will not return for a burger and not recommend anyone else partake in the burger side of the business unless dining in, at...

There was a booster seat on the floor. The server kicked it out of the way on the floor which actually put it in the way of people getting out of the booth. The other lady working sprayed 16 sprays of windex on a cloth. She uses the cloth to wipe the counter by the sink. She then pulled out tea bags that she had to unwrap one by one and pulled the strings off. She put them in a container to make iced tea. She did all of that without washing the Windex or dirty cloth germs off of her hands. This restaurant normally has workers that clear you table right away. We had an empty tray on our table. The server brought us another burger that we ordered, which is when she kicked the booster seat on the floor out of the way, and she did not take the empty tray. I ordered a meal to go. When it was ready the lady behind the counter held the bag up and waved it at me while I was still sitting and eating with my friend and then left it on the counter by the register. I love this place and it is usually very clean with friendly and exceptional service. I was very...

The burgers and other sandwichs are quite tasty and reasonably-priced. As you'd expect, a combo is a burger with fries and fountain drink. Lately, I've been ordering the Cheesydia with either chicken or beef. It's better-made and more reasonably priced than the equivelant from the Mexican restaurant next door! They used to have flavored yogurt and ice cream, but I think it was just unmanageable and they did away with it. They still make excellent lattes and other hot or cold coffee drinks. The theme is a contemporary and 1950's diner mesh(sorry, not my area of knowledge.). They have 3 televisions, usually showing three different sporting events, but with muted volume. The only unfortunate aspect is the tiny parking lot, which they share with Antojo's. But, you can always park in the overflow lot across the street, next to Firehouse 11.

Everything about this place gets an A+. The customer service is always pleasant and going above and beyond. The food is always great. I make a point to order something I normally wouldn’t here because I know I won’t be disappointed, and I haven’t yet. I spent many years as a barista, so imagine my surprise when I ordered a coffee with actual espresso shots in it from a burger/taco place. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for Mexican food in Tacoma/Parkland. Its almost like THE taco bus in Puyallup (that was in the gas station parking lot that now has its own store front) frugals, and gravity coffee collided. As a side note, the employees all make it a point to keep it as clean as possible. Eat local!

They have changed a little over the years and recently combined the Mexican restaurant with their burger place. Burgers still taste broiled and they have decent buns and toppings you can grab from the side when dining in. Fries are steak fries when they used to be shoe string but are still good with a soft but slightly crisp outside. Not firm. The grey sauce is great and in general this place can appease parents and kids if you're looking for a variety. Didn't expect major deal prices here but standard and reasonable.
