In reading these reviews I am wondering if I caught this place on a bad day. Maybe, just possibly I might give them another chance based on what I read. My personal experience was not so great... Let's start with the salad, if you can call some chopped up lettuce a salad. There was no dressing that I could taste or see, but at the bottom there was a puddle that indicated something had been added. A total disappointment because I love the dressing that comes on salads from teriyaki joints. I will say the chicken was ok, but their teriyaki sauce was terrible so I had to remove the top layer of chicken as it was drowned in teriyaki sauce (I think that's what that was). However, the chicken was decent once I removed that sauce. The beef was some sort of processed meat product that you could NEVER find at a butcher's counter, so I'm also not sure what that was and I will never order it again. So again, maybe I just ordered the wrong meal, but if that is all they had to offer, I would NEVER go back. Based on other's reviews, I may need to try something else on the...
Read moreFINAL POST UPDATE: Changed the score to a good rating because the food was much better, more presentable, overall everything improved, heard it has new owners, would definitely explain the major change.
2ND POST UPDATE: same thing again, I'm not even going to make a whole explanation, the new picture will be evident enough: CHARCOAL!
POST UPDATE: Changed it from 2 stars to 4 because i decided to try ordering again and this time food wasn't burnt, maybe my previous review had something to do with it but regardless i would say its a good thing whenever a business takes the time to listen to a customers needs.
OLD POST Come here a lot, when I order the teriyaki chicken regular it comes out rubbery and undercooked so I started asking for well done, well I guess well done means: completely burnt and almost inedible unless I want to take 30 mins of my time cutting every piece of burnt chicken off. I mentioned it multiple times and yet the results are still the same, might be time to start looking for a different place...
Read moreIt's a small place, pretty standard when you just walk in. Now, let me tell you why I thought it was great! I ordered teriyaki chicken breast with extra meat and no rice sub extra veggies, sauce on the side. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken and katsu chicken combo. The food all came our right and pretty quickly. We ate there, and I was a little different to get all of our own supplies. The tables were clean and well maintained. They have a little bit nicer round chopstick and very small cups for water (4 oz). The house made hot sauce was amazing and my friend loved it as well.
While we were there, it was pretty slow. We were the only table for a while. The family came out and ate together. I thought this was nice. We were self-sufficient, and I was nice to see a family eat together today when we are constantly being driven apart.
I will be back for the great food and laid back chill vibes with a...
