The food was prepared excellently. The flavor profiles on Bandeja Paisa were balanced and unique. Where someone who has not had Columbian food would think this is Mexican perennially from the outside sign, it is not. The There's fried plantains, the pork blood sausage is great. The ground meat around the sausage, rice, red beans and sauce was great, skirt steak and even egg on top of the rice which didn't seem cooked in just water eye all nice touches. They all really added to the flavor. The key on all this is it was fresh and flavors weren't overwhelming and anything fried was light and done very well. If you are not adventurous, get the juice mixed with milk. It didn't taste like a milkshake or smoothies, but lighter. The all cheese filled empanadas are what I'll keep coming back for. I don't see anyone disliking it unless you don't like corn or hot melting cheese. You'd do a disservice to yourself to not try more from the menu. Even the children's chicken nuggets were tasty for pressed chicken. Only down side I could see is that the food could use a little more seasoning, but not when you got their sauce you can put on top. Plus parents can get some drinks as well. Not a lot like this in town.

Came here to try it out. Its mid. Prices too high for mid food (20/person). We won't come again but glad to support a neighborhood restaurant at least once. I got chicken guisado. Some how the potatoes and plantain was dry even though they look stewed. Chicken was moist but not super flavorful. My lunch guest had the chicken and rice. Chicken was dry like it had been pre-made and sitting there. He ended up picking out the chicken because too tough and stringy. It came with a lot of French fries which may be a cultural thing for Columbia? Weird to see so much carb with carbs. When ordered I thought itd be lile a quarter chicken with seasoned rice underneath. Server was nice. Interior was nice. Personally ill be going back to el riconsito which is just regular Mexican food. Maybe is Columbian food holds a special place in your heart then you'll like this place more than me.

The first time my hubby went he got the Patacon Pisao Special and raved about it do we went together this time. It was TERRIBLE! Both dishes and the appetizer were bad. The Arepas looked nothing like the photo. We got the corn cakes (3) and a very dry sausage. The green salsa was amazing and saved the wilted, dry sausage. I got the Patacon Pisao with shredded chicken. Menu says AND sausage, but either they meant to say OR, or they forgot it. The dish was flavorless, plantain was fried, yet dry. Worst of all, it was topped with fry sauce (yep, ketchup and mayo mixed together). Hubby got the Patacon Burger and fries that tasted and looked like they were from a frozen bag. He didn’t finish the burger either. It was over cooked and dry. I don’t think we’ll ever go back. I was looking forward to authentic Colombian food, but got something much less…

Check you receipt before you pay. Really dissapointed about my last experience with this place, my family and friends used to go to this place regulary, but this time we decided order to take out, The restaurant ask about pay before to pick up food ,when you are giving your credict card info over phone you are trusting they are doing the correct thing, but for my surprise I was charged over $200 instead $169 wich was the total for my food. I decided to call and just ask about prices, when I asked why they charged more to my credit card the guy who said was the manager started saying that he didn't find my transaction, then said he didn't give me the right amount initially so I said I know the prices for my food, they are even on your website, so why he lied to me? At the end he told me it was a mistake and I was charged a service fee, so they did a transaction that I was not autorizing. Then he offered me food for the amount I was extra charged or get my money back. Honestly I don't trust this place anymore so I decided just take it as my lesson to learn. Be carefull with this place, double check your recipt and ask about your total...

🤮 I cannot comprehend how anyone is giving this restaurant more than 1 star. Put aside whether it is good Colombian food, which it most certainly is not, IT ISN'T EVEN GOOD "FOOD". They cannot even cook rice which isn't bland and mushy...the beans were straight out of a can without a hint of seasoning. Their aji is more like a bad American version of chimichurri! The eggs never saw a single salt crystal, the "sautéed" vegetables were far more likely microwaved frozen vegetables! And turning to Colombian food - indeed there were many Colombians eating there..not sure if they just convinced themselves it was authentic because of the names on the menu, or if they have forgotten what authentic food should taste like; but sadly, for any non-Colombian going here, you will have a horribly false impression of what real, authentic, wonderful things make up that cuisine. Save your money, find a good Mexican instead, or go to NYC or Miami if you can't get to Colombia to eat...
