Xantolo Taqueria — Restaurant in Tacoma

(Updated to 5 stars) Excellent service. The consomme was so good we basically drank it when done with our food. There is a covered area to sit. The truck looks new and clean.

We got two quesabirria plates, 2 Jarritos and a tacos dorados appetizer. Everything was $67, which is painful for taco truck food but that’s the price of everything everywhere these days. And to be honest, the food quality is so good…like restaurant quality. They threw in an horchata as a gesture and brought the food to us which was great service.

My only critique is the beans and rice portion...

I ordered three tacos on taco Tuesday at $1.99 each. I went with one of each meat: chicken, pork and beef. All well seasoned. Wrapped in double corn tortilla, topped with onion and cilantro. Everything tasted very fresh. It was still very warm after the 10 min drive home.

My son ordered the birria tacos that came with with beans and rice. Around $16. He loved it. We'll definitely be back.

I grew up in Mexico, in the northeast and I always have hard time finding a restaurant that has authentic Mexican food. This place’s food was just like home. It was the first time I finished my beans and rice. The chilaquiles were exactly how we eat it in Mexico and you can order them at any time of the day. Service was great and there is plenty of parking. Prices are slightly higher than other places but it’s 100% worth it. Comida autentica 100%...
